Hype? My expectations were realistic; a well made, attractive and accurate VV device. It has delivered.

The sigelei Zmax is a hunk of steel, very sturdy. The evic is aluminum and a plastic control head, I have dropped it and knocked it over several times without issue.

Very interesting.

Personally, I don't want to buy the third party 18650 extension for the mini because it doesn't exactly match the black finish. Call me an elitist, but I just don't want that extension. If Provari came out with a matching extension, i'd buy it for sure because I know it's going to match.

Plus I read they won't be making them for much longer? Not sure if that's true.

Hey Beretta you can always Plastidip it black to match.

Does the mini work with an 18650 battery? Or were you referring to 18490s?

Provape currently offers an extension cap for the Mini so that 18490 batteries can be used for entended battery time.

Kir Fanis, a well known mod-maker from Greece and who has made quite a few high-end cartotanks, including a couple exclusively designed for the Provari, had been making a 18650 extension cap for the Mini. It was being sold here extension 18650 for mini Provari - Gr-Modders, but it is currently out of stock and I thought that I read that it will no longer be kept in production.
