...and I just bought one. To be specific, the "Demon Red" starter pack with the larger 78mm automatic batteries, Torque 56 at max strength for the pre-filled carts and a 30ml bottle of Longhorn for the blanks and refills when the prefills run dry.

I would have liked to have gone with something larger like an eGo-C, but the budget simply didn't permit it. At any rate, I can't help but look forward to receiving it, as the 280mAh Halo batteries can't help but be a massive improvement over the 80mAh Blu I'm using now.

Smokless Image Volt has a higher mah for the same 78mm size, I believe its 320mah (someone correct if Im wrong). I have no clue what accounts for the difference, I was actually about to post this question then I saw this post.

Yeah, 320 sounds right. I have some of those. I also have a G6. I like it, but obviously the
charge doesn't last as long as those from SI.

I love that Torque. Been hittin' a good part of the night. I also bought some of those prefilled
Torques in cartos, and they are real good. After I hit those, I couldn't wait to get my 30 mil
bottle.

Got a free sample of the Longhorn. I wore it out to a bar one night. Yucky perfumey. After
quite a few weeks of steeping, it is finally starting to be vapable. Maybe by next summer :)

So my G6 showed up yesterday, and... well, I probably done screwed the pooch, 'cause I didn't follow the "charge it for 8 hours, vape it for 20 minutes, charge it another hour" thing. I'm not sure how bad that's gonna come back to bite me later. I plugged the battery in and it showed a full charge after like 20 minutes, so I was all, "Meh, screw it, let's give it a go."

So here's the thing... I know that many of you are experienced with bigger batteries than the G6 carries. Some of you use eGo-C's, some of you probably have monster "gripper" mods, Gods only know.

But me, I'm coming to the G6 from a paltry little Blu. Not the Premium 100 Blu, not even the Premium Blu, the "not smart" pack Blu circa... 2010? 2011?

To me, coming from that, the G6 is the freakin' Cadillac of "mini" e-Cigarettes. I do get what bivie means about Longhorn being somewhat "perfumey" -- but it's still vape-able compared to anything Blu offers, and so bivie's review of it only means, to me, that Longhorn is just going to keep getting better and better.

Oh, and the 10ml sampler of Cafe Mocha? Delicious. Just... freakin'... delicious. Oh, mah dear 'n' fluffy Lord. Just a lovely flavor, amazing throat hit, crazy thick vapor, and that's not even with 24 hours on the bottle being out of the tin. So, yeah, I'm a big fan already.

I have tried many of the Halo juices, ordered the sample kit, then had to order 30ml bottles of Tribeca, Captain Jack, Torque56 and Midnight Apple. I liked the Prime15 also, the only one I really didn't care for in the sampler was the HX3 but that is only because it is menthol and I don't care for menthol. My daughter also started vaping and Captain Jack is her go to vape.

What does Prime 15 taste like?

Is it any better than Prime 14? (kidding).

It's odd. Both times I visited this thread, I was vaping Torque 56, and it's on a 78 mm
808.

Love, love, love my G6! Have been using it for almost 2 months and I too came to it from the Blu side of things...I agree that while most hard core vapers rag on the battery life I find it awesome and have nothing but good things to say about it!

Battery life doesn't matter when it comes to convenience. I usually take smaller
batts to work so I can do the lip hang while my hands are busy. I just take two
or three of them with me in an ecig case.

KR808 D1's rock. Almost everyone that vaped when cig style was realy all you could get agreed. I don't know why 510 took off and all but took over vaping. Even now people will admit they buy 510 only because it is so compatable. So vape on, knowing that the only regret you could ever have starting on these is mah size.:toast:

So I've finally encountered my first minor maintenance issue. Took a good look at the batteries this morning and discovered that black gunk had formed in the threads. That could be a result of my admittedly inexpert refilling technique.

On advice I read in another thread here in ECF, I used q-tips and hydrogen peroxide to clean the threads as best I could (still a little blackness in them, but not nearly as bad) and did likewise on the inside of the carts I've been using. 1,000% improvement in performance after that.
