I got the satin Vulcan from SureVapes. It's all stainless steel, no plating at all and of reasonable build quality. I bought beveled glass replacement tanks from IBTanked to go with them. The only issue I had was the air hole not lining up, but a couple of minutes sanding the top and it works perfectly. Total cost each including the glass tanks was 28.99 plus shipping. I'm very happy with them.

I have a vulcan also and love it. My top cap doesn't line up when fully screwed in either so I press mine on instead of screwing it on and then backing it up to line the hole with the wick. It seems more stable this way. I've got another coming and I plan to try sanding it to see if I can get it to line up by screwing instead of pressing. If I can get the top cap stable, it will be perfect. I have a real DID and it's nice and sturdy and the top cap screws on and lines up perfectly, but I like the draw of the clone a bit better (it hurts to say that!) I bought my DID off the classys and apparently the air hole has been altered because the draw is super super airy.

I just checked and the standard DID in available in the clearance section. I wish now that I would have just ordered from there instead of buying a used one. If you buy from MMvapors, you might want to go ahead and get a clear tank so you can see your wick and juice.

If you get the clone, I got mine from surevapes also and when you place an order, you have the option of getting the clear tank for only $1.99, that's what I did and I'm really happy with it.

What did you use to sand them? I would love for mine to fit tight.

Actually believe it or not, I much preferred my DID clone to my genuine DID. The real DID was always a pain to setup properly for some reason, much more touchy than any other genesis I've ever used (5 total) though it DID vape nice. (see what I did there?) Also it was very pocket friendly, it NEVER leaked once, even when I left it on it's side for like an hour one day to test it. I carried it all over the place on my Provari and never had any problems. The wick hole was too big for my liking though, I prefer smaller wicks. They use a lot less mesh but perform exactly the same for me.

So whats the difference from what is available...want a original but "out of stock"...as we all know
Hi Clearo MM Vapors is out of stock of the Satin DID20 but has it in polished stainless in the drop down box.
Also you can go to clearance section and get a satin DID20 for 20 less euros usually there is a mar to the logo or something minor not affecting the performance at all.

Before i started out with the real DID'S i tried several clones and trust me the real one is much better quality, materials used and machine work, the wick hole is closer to the positive post for much easier setup and will last a lifetime, i have 4 of them in rotation. ; )

vaping side by side I too prefer the clone, but only because of the draw. Once my wick was broke in, I haven't had much trouble setting either of them up.

Here's a good deal. Can't get much cheaper than $8 shipped. But it doesn't come with any wick and wire. I couldn't resist and ordered one. It just shipped.

I just got 2 the other day. The 2 concerns I have are the screw on cap, and the what looks like polycarb tank. TBH my only Genesis right now is the AGA-T2 that has a glass tank and double o-ring cap. I know of the screw cap problem with most RBAs and is a quick fix, but I am worried about finding a glass tank that will fit this.

The Chinese have come a long way in the manufacture of RBAs, in a short time. IMO, it's tough to beat the AGA-T2s. I don't own an RSST, but from what I've been reading, it's a good one as well.

vaping a RSST right now...very impressed, i like it better than my AGA-T2...seems less finicky and its fully insulated...like the adjustable pos post to get the wick comfortable with the button all in all slick design IMHO

I had an ac9 and sold it for 1) my daughter's car needed a new transmission and I panicked. 2) I was having trouble getting it set up and didn't think it was worth what I paid for it. 3) it is large and looked top heavy on a provari (without a pro-ring).

with all that being said, I'll probably get the RSST .. but I'm also waiting for Phiniac to get the cobra back in stock so I can get a sandblasted tank

I've got 4 of the SS mini DID clones and beveled glass tanks from IBTanked. They're pretty nice. By mixing and matching top caps and a little sanding, I was able to get the air holes to all line up. I drilled out the air holes to 3/64" (1.2mm) I also got some screws that are a little longer, they're much easier to work with.

These things are *mostly* SS. The center tube and positive posts are plated brass, the cap and top and bottom plates are SS.
