so many questions.. so little time !!

Just got a 501 tonight and love it so far.

I know the information is scattered around here somewhere but there is so much information ehre I can't nail it and they are fairly basic questions... so here we go:

1. How long do a battery last on a 501, (how many drags ?)
2. How long do a refill last on a cartridge ? (how many drags ?)
3. How do you know when it is empty ?
4. How long should I wait between drags to avoid burning the atty ?
5. can I carry this vertically in my pocket without saturating or drying the atty
6. is it better to drip or refill ? I noticed I can drop 5-6 drops in the cartridge after the equivalent of a few smokes...
7.how do I know when I have to clean the atty ?

I know it is a lot, but those will get me going for a while !!!
