My wife and I began together nearly 2 years ago (vaping that is...we've been married nearly 39 years). We started together with 808 stick batts and cartos. Together we branched out to ego sized and T2 top coils. That's when we separated (vaping that is...we're still married). She has been happily vaping ego's and T2's for 18 months with no desire for anything else, while I have moved quite a bit further.

My point is that everyone is different. This is beginning to become a hobby for me (even tho I swore it never would). For the Mrs it's just away to stop smoking.

Alright you guys. Since this has been established as a no judgement zone I will share with you my dream. I have a few parts ordered but not fully assembled. Fully patinad caravela with Russian 91 air flow reg and topped with a stunning genesis atomizer ( also fully patinad)

Seems your off to a good start. When it is fully assembled be sure to take a pic and post it in the forums would like to see it:D

Welcome to the wonderful world of vaping. It was extremely confusing to get into this for myself just like you, but this forum provides a wealth of knowledge for those who look. Try not to read the forum, thread by thread, cus you could possibly read a thread about something very beginner, and jump to something extremely advanced and confuse yourself. What helped me is I would try to figure things out for myself, and when I couldn't, I'd find the answer in the forums! As for my setup, I skipped the whole beginner eGo phase and went from cigalikes straight to mods. I'm vaping on a Vamo V5, Sony 18650 battery, Kanger Protank 3, and I just ordered some juice from Alice in Vapeland. Still pretty new to this myself!

You guys are way beyond me on the mechanical stuff, but, as recent vapor (vaper?) myself, the one thing I wish someone had told me before I shelled out money was to get a clearomizer with a glass tank. I've been reading about how some ejuices can crack plastic tanks, and it's made me paranoid about trying any of the more complicated flavors I just purchased. I have a Kanger MT3 - it has a metal exterior with view slots on the sides. Can't tell if just the slots are plastic or if the metal covers an entire plastic tank.

Anyway, have an Innokin iClear X.I and a Kanger Mini Protank 3 on order, so those should ease my mind.

I found that while I enjoyed my push pins at the end of the day when of really wanted to start spending money on liquid and enjoying it's craftsmanship dripping was really the only way to go. Completely new world.
