Hey all. Just wanted to brag a little today as it is my one month anniversary without an analog and I owe it all to V4L and their great products as well as the incredible support provided on this forum.

I know that it's customary to measure success in time as I just did with my one month anniversary, but I feel that my true success was in not smoking after an extremely stressful and excruciatingly painful event in my life - a head on car accident (on January 31'st) which totaled my truck and fractured my kneecap. I've since had my kneecap surgically repaired and am sitting at home with a full leg brace with the prospect of 3-6 months until full recovery.

Anyway, the fact that I made it through this event without a smoke means far more to me than the one-month calendar achievement as it assures me that if I can make it through this, then I can make it through pretty much anything. Thank you V4L and ECF posters for giving me my life back. Thank you for giving me hope.

So was your car o.k. ? That was a joke by the way. Been there done that a couple of times, I was in the delivery business for 25 years. Strange for how a few fleeing milliseconds you think, "Mmm ya...I'm probably not gonna live through this....POW."

Well you know what they say, "That which doesn't kill us generally just leaves us physically or emotionally scarred for life" or something like that.

In any case I'm glad the Grim Reaper couldn't fit you into his busy schedule, good time as any to start vaping, here's to a speedy recovery :toast:.

The true test is getting through PT! Been there, we can exchange pics of our knee scars. Mine was a knee fracture caused by an unfortunate marching band incident (I broke the tuba player's arm too), I had to follow it with an ACL surgery 16 years later. I truely feel your pain and wish you a speedy recovery! May God and percocet be with you!
