I'm not really sure what I want to get I was aiming towards either a nice box mod or mech mod and I want to start rebuilding and sub ohming which I can do on either of them where a box I can get a consistent vape up until it dies and with a mech only up till about 50% of the battery.
But for a mech I would like something with with low voltage drop and under the $150 range I don't mind if its copper or stainless steel whichever out performs the other and self adjusting pin,
For a box I would like something that has pretty high wattage, duel 18650 or 26650, self adjusting center pin,a boost option, and firmware updates to make wattage higher over time

Get something different than just sticking an RDA on another box or tube. Look into a Reo bottom feeder box. The bottom feeding takes all the hassle out of dripping. And since a Reo is a one piece aluminum body without multiple parts that need to be screwed together there isn't much talk about voltage drop going on with Reo users.

Voltage drop is an issue with mech mods. But, there is no better way to perfect your coil building than with a mech mod. The power you get from the device is a direct result of your build. I love mechanical mods.

Copper mechanicals have less voltage drop, so the output is stronger for any given battery level. There are a few authentic copper mech mods in your price range, and most clones are at that level.

there are a few really good authentic Mech's out there for under 100, one that is outstanding is the Flagship of which i do own & recommend.

as far as regulated box mods (20 to infinite watts) there are new versions coming out every-day now it seems.....i have 6 regulated box mods i use for different builds & Vapor.....my new "this-week favorite go-to" is the IPV Mini, working flawlessly and feels/fits perfect in my hand with a 22mm Veritas, 28ga kanthal single coil @1.0 at 17 watts; very nice vape.

I've never owned a better mech than the Flagship regardless of price and I agree it is outstanding. Much as I felt the Orion V3 deserved some sort of award for hardware innovation in a regulated mod (first and only regulated genesis hybrid) the Flagships switch design is equally innovative from a mechanical standpoint....absolutely brilliant.
