What a scare. Me and the famdamily are out at niagara falls for the night (I work for Starwood so I get great rates at the Sheraton.) and we went out with the kids to Dave and busters. Half way through our fun I thought to myself "I'm gonna refill my vision". I reach in to my jacket pocket for my ego case.... Nothing. I reach in to my other pocket and...... Nothing..... So of coarse I do a double check in case I missed a giant case that takes up all the room in my pocket. A bead of sweat rolled off my brow. I was in panic mode. The wife was like "calm down, it's probably in the car". Long story short, it was in the car and she was right. And this taught me a lesson that I wish to share with all of you..
When traveling, as oppose to packing up a 30ml bottle and a couple batteries in to your ego case, pack up 3 10ml bottles and a battery in to 3 cases. 4 or 5 cases would work aswell, because going a whole 2 days with out your e-cig is a scary thought..

Heh... I've had a scare like that, except I really didn't have it with me. I forgot my case with all my juice and spare PVs at home. Fortunately I did have one eGo on me with a half-full carto, and I found a spare 510 in my bag that had an unknown quantity of juice in it. It was just enough to get me through my work day, though I did go at them sparingly.

Now I am never without. I've got spare stuff at work, and I always take several PVs and tanks with me, so that even if I do forget my case with my spare batteries/juice in it, I have enough on me to get me comfortably through the day.

I'll file this under "Modern Horror Stories."

Hey, cool, you have my old avatar! :D Good to see Smiley Dog return.

I already have a couple of these ... but I have 5 more coming in the mail ....
ecig.JPG

These are cheap 808D's from Dealextreme ... each has a 220mah autobatt and a charger ... the included carto gets thrown away ... far away. I was skeptical when I got the first 2, but I've been using them in the daily rotation for a couple months now and they work as well as any other 68mm slim batt does. With bulk pricing, the 5 I ordered end up being less than $4 each shipped for a batt and usb charger ... these are small and very usefull as backups.

You need to pick up one of these and just put it on your key ring for going out. Screwdriver Key ring

Yup, these are great for travel! I have two of them. Since sd keyrings have auto switches, you just have to be extra careful not to over fill your cartos. Otherwise they're awesome for air travel/ stealth vaping ;)

I too have had a couple of close calls, the worst... I had just been vaping a few months and just bought my beautiful blue buzz! Took the fam to D-Land. Went on the Splash Mountain ride and got incredibly soaked. I felt my pocket getting quite warm, and when I checked my buzz, it was on.... I spent the rest of the week long trip taking the batteries out and only putting them back in when I needed a hit. Needless to say, when I got home I immediately ordered a 2nd buzz, and sent my baby back to Notcig for repair. (BTW, they fixed her for free!). Now whenever I travel I bring damn near EVERYTHING. And I pack it in different bags.

LOL .. That may have been why the Customs officer asked me about them. He said "Cigar Electronica?!". I said "Si!" (no sense denying it). Then he said, oh you are two of you.. ok go!

Keep in mind that Mexico has the same "non permisso" laws for e-cigs that our lovely country has!

Haha, wow, you took a big risk then. I would have spilled blood before letting anyone get their hands on my REO

It is worth it to have several types of ecigs for different situations . I have ones I take to work , ones that I can take when just leaving the house for a while and ones going out for an evening . A 510 PCC is good for a short trip away from home for example . You have to remember also the first rule of vaping ... Carry backups . Second rule have backups for your backups .
