So sick of smokers complaining about the smell

Dear lord, yes. I washed clothes in the closet I haven't worn in years, I rented a carpet cleaner, I bought a ton of Febreeze and similar products. I ran my leather jacket and vest through the dryer several times with 20 or so dryer sheets and several tennis balls (which helped with the smell quite a bit, but didn't remove all of it.) Yes, I did a ton of extra cleaning after I quit smoking, both in the house and in the car.

And I'm sort of shopping around for a new leather jacket. I'll sell the old one, cheap - to someone that smokes.

Well, I never smoked in my house, and I'm pretty sure I've washed all of my clothes since vaping - and some articles a few times.

I was walking across a parking lot to a grocery store vaping Fudge Brownie (it has a really strong scent) from Velvet Vapors about a week ago. I'd just put my pv in my pocket when a woman comes walking by, looks at me, smiles and says, "You smell like brownies!". Made my day.

When I started recovering my sense of smell after quitting smoking, I kept getting a faint whiff of pee in my computer room. I tore that room apart looking for a place where the cat may have had an accident. I was literally crawling around the floor sniffing the carpet. Next, I gave the cat a bath, much to her dismay. Finally, I checked my own pants and chair...just in case. I could not find the source. Sat down for a vape break and I got hit in the face with the smell. Who knew that caramel smells like pee when you vape it?! I'm rather embarrassed because I vaped it for the two weeks immediately following my giving up analogs, and I still couldn't smell anything. Anyone who got near me probably thought I had peed my pants.

I switched flavors and I now get comments from non-smokers that it smells like candy, cookies, or a sweet pipe tobacco.

I just thought you'd bought a Dell... If confusable.

The cigs are the ones that stimk... Make your fimgers and teeth uellow. Stains uour wslls etc... They have ashtray mouth. Not us vapers. Most juices make the air smell good... At least in my ecxperience. Ive never hadany one ask me to stop or that it smells bad... But I guess i have never had anything that smells like urime... Never knew some smelt that way..

I have....a freebie (Peaches and Cream) smelled like cat litter box (to me)...really bad when I first got it....after some steeping time (open bottle) smell got a bit less offensive...but I never got passed the scent (plus it was too high nic for me anyway) ... so, I PIF'ed it

I've vaped 15 maybe 20 flavors from various sources so far and have never experience the foulness some of you speak of. What the hell is up with that? Even the "Havana Cuba Tobacco" that was reminiscent of corn tortillas on the inhale at least smelled appetizing on the exhale. If you like corn tortillas that is.

I think i might be reaching 50 diffrent liquids soon... Ive made so many diffrent ones and found so many delicious combinations that its driving me nuts not being able to vape them

It does seem a bit hypocritical for smokers to complain, but sometimes i'll be sitting in my room vaping for a couple hours, leave for a few minutes, come back, and think the vape smell lingering in my room isn't the best, even though it tasted delicious as I vaped!

In my experience it does depend on the juice. 9 times out of 10 the smell is actually an improvement, but a few juices do leave a bad smell.

Well right now im vaping a pink spot blue raz cotton candy, so far the complaining is at a point where i can tolerate it, and this liquid only smells a little bit like sweet rasberries... But in a few days the real complaining will start...

What smokers don't understand is that their sense of smell has been compromised by the mere fact they smoke. And, to be clear, I was a smoker once, but I don't recall getting on somebody's case because of the way they smelled.

The only 'off' odored vape I have so far is Butter Pecan. It's not baad, per se...just kind of 'off'

For getting that smoke smell out, I used that car freshener spray Ozium in the regular scent. Worked wonders and my non-smoker mother can't even smell anything anymore with her bloodhound nose.

Haha! Seems a little ironic. To each his own. I prefer most vape smell to cigarette smell.

I was just told my diy kahlua flavor smelt like bloody sinuses! Eeeek!
It tastes incredible though!
