If that's the 1mm silver wire we bought for the hybrids, it should be good to go. That's what I used to create my s wire.
Hey nice job there, are the "ego parts" an old atomizer that the threads fit or was it a modifacation to to the ego parts? Which parts did you use? Brand name of the ego parts ect...

Chuckie, if it fits into the little brass post, then it should be good. I'm not sure how stiff it is compared to copper. I've got some thicker copper that I don't know the gauge of as I stripped it all, but it is very stiff, something like 15 or 16G. I'd need to make a jig to bend a snake with it.
Dan, the ring was from the cover of ego passthrough mini usb.

I run 60% VG, and when full I am having wicking issues. I figured out that I was drawing too hard trying to get a good drag...made a mess.
I put the syringe tube on, and started noticing every time I fired it, a bubble would come up in the tank. So now I am preheating the coil for a second, then take a normal steady drag. So far this is working decent....but not great or perfect.
You running #400 SS wick? Might want #300 for the VG I was thinking, or just less material in the wick, or both...
Yeah.....might be worth trying a different mesh. I have already put a thinner wick on it, first one I made. Might try it again with a different configuration. I started out with 3 wraps on the coil....probably was too low resistance even though I was getting 1.6ohm on my meter. Might have been a false reading since I was checking from the battery connector.
Just a quick thanks to you guys for your suggestions.I got the tank working.The bad news is I don't know how or why.My guess is I fooled around with the s wire enough to get lucky or I needed a better device to connect it to as I only had a reo and a disposable 510 battery to connect it to.
Today I got a madvapes vv box.I screwed the g-tank into it set it 3.9v and it worked.I use .2 kanth. with about 4-5 wraps.I hope it keeps working this well. Anyway, thanks again.

OK I made a knurley tank for my G-Tank.... hehehehe
Check it out, the original, and the one I made with a knurled end so it is easier to grip and remove.
And here it is on my G-Tank:

Actually it would be easy to do out of pyrex, just get the right size tubing and melt one end close like a test tube, cut to length and fire polish the end. NEXT...

Easy for you, much more difficult for me but maybe doable. Since you turned a SS tank, could you give me a size to search for? I was just joking around but your response has me thinking now. Test tube, hmm.......haven't used a torch in 25 years, have never worked with glass but a test tube I might be able to cut to length and polish. That's kinda small though for a test tube though.

The ID on the tube would have to be .35" or 8.9mm, that is the diameter you are looking for.

Thanks Dan! After using the G Tank I believe in the bottom coil Genesis atty so I'm looking forward to the DSU if and when you co-op it. Controlled juice and air flow and can monitor juice level.....wow! That's about all I can say

oh that pyrex is a nice idea and if we are gunna cut a tube (diamond dremel wheel works great) what about something like the little bottles being used elsewhere - if the right size could be found just cut the top off and go...
and i remember from my school days seeing test tubes and such that small maybe smaller even. they make all sizes of glassware for that stuff.... humm....

its a 10mm outside diameter. i haven't found anything about the inside diameter but it should be close depends how thick it is. as long as it fits inside the cover and fits over base you could perhaps use a different oring if needed....

So long as the wall thickness did not exceed .55mm then it should work. I have found 11mmOD x 9mmID tubing that would probably work for 20 bucks. Might give that ago.
