Write up a letter with a fake Attorneys header on top of it. Have the letter say the firm has a delivery confirmation that she received the delivery and it is a federal offence of up to 10 years imprisonment and or up to a 100,000 dollar fine for steeling or tampering with the USPS. The FBI will be hand delivering the charges and case to the judge with charges pending within 24Hrs if this package is not returned to the person it was addressed to and if she doesn’t hand it over to you in 24 hrs she will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Make sure you use a good friend’s cell number on the header of the letter, do some research to get her number if you can so if she calls they know how to answer the phone or if a call comes in with an unrecognized number make sure they answer their phone like this (Goodman, Schwartz, and Goodman how may I direct your call). She is going to do one of two things. 1. Hang right up and return the package ASAP 2nd call or put the package in your hand or at your door within an hour of receiving this letter and make up some story that a relative or someone took the delivery and she didn’t know they where they put the package until just now.!!
I think the dirt ball schmink needs to be schminked and you can’t get hurt in anyway by trying this method just plan it out well, you might just get your package and it might be opened and even used but you might get it and have a blast getting it and it be well worth your while.!!!

Knock on the door and when they answer tell them to give you your package or you're going to knock their mf'ing teeth out.:D Okay, that might be a little violent for you but it's probably exactly what I would do... seriously.

I also like mwa102464's idea.

So heres why thats not a great idea, if you did that to me Id say f you, if you hit me I would call the cops have you arrested, and file a lawsuit against you for the injurys you caused. 2 things to remember, the person knows who the op is, and the op cant prove the person took it, all that can be proved is the package was delervered there. This is an apartment complex and anyone could have stolen it as Im sure a sig was not required.

Aah, I should have read closer. I thought it was confirmed that the neighbor had it. My mistake!:p

Neither here nor there
That might work, I did that to a buddist next door that would start chanting at 6am. I placed my speakers on the wall and cranked up Hot rails to Hell by BOC no more chanting after that.

Hey just keep playing Panama over and over and over again like mimi did on that Drew Carey show.

In a big apartment complex I lived in, the lady downstairs complained if my toilet flushed after 10pm. So, I bought a sound effects CD, set the "toilet flush" track on repeat, blasted the volume and left for about 6 hours.

Bummer but I don't think you have any way to get it back. One of my packages was correctly addressed and had tracking number. PO showed it was delivered to me but I never received it. We had a new mail carrier that was always delivering to the wrong address. PO inspectors would not do a thing since it showed it was delivered to my address. Only real recourse is to have everything insured, especially if it is a large amount. I worry about my packages all the time and there is always someone home during the day.

Good luck to you. I think if you sent her that letter from attorney, she will throw the stuff out (if she hasn't already) and say she never got it. She is not going to admit having it if she feels threatened for sure.

But isn't opening mail addressed to someone else a Federal offense? It's one thing if something is addressed to you that you didn't order, but if it's addressed to someone else? That would mean if you received someone else's income tax refund you could keep it - NOT.

Well, I suppose if it is the law, you can keep the check, you just can't cash it:(. I bet there are some out there who would try to do that though. It's so awful that there are people out there who have just no amount of integrity at all and can't do the right thing. And this poor poster just wants her item. Sucks. I personally don't think I would want it after she's opened it and probably used it. But I understand the anger at someone basically stealing it from you.

I would personally say that I will gladly send you one of my units as a gift when I get my replacement batteries for my KR808D-1. I got a defective one by accident and am waiting on a replacement one. The vendor is excellent, though I was really sad when this happened. But the vapers need to help one another, since cigarettes are going to kill so many people this year, and no one wants more of that.

PM me with your address and I will get something ready for you. Pay it forward, we say. I have a unit I don't really use that much, only occasionally. You can have it when I get my new batts.

Also I can't just go and talk to her as she isn't MY neighbor she is my COWORKERS neighbor.

Have you spoken to her? Of course you can approach her even though she isn't your neighbor. How has your coworker handled the situation? Its YOUR mistake to make right. After all, you had it sent to her address.

Knock on the door and explain what happened. Show her the receipts with her address mistakenly listed as the shipping address. Did you have a tracking number, show her the tracking data indicating it had been delivered to her address. Ask her about it. The overwhelming majority of the people in the world not just keep something like that. I guess its possible that this person may be in the small minority that would.

If she is in that minority, shame on her. I'm not sure what I would do then? If I was confident that she actually did receive it and just kept it for herself, maybe I'd put a note at the communal mailbox area that starts with WARNING, <<NAME>> STEALS MAIL. Or maybe drop a note in all of her neighbors mailboxes, and a copy for her as well, telling the story about how she stole your stuff. I'd have to be pretty certain that she did actually receive it and is refusing to hand it over to do things like that thou.

    Good luck.

 that is amazing! I will gladly take you up on that offer, but it won't be for me. My coworker has wanted an e-cig, but of course on a salary at Krispy Kreme, bills, and all that she hasn't been able to get one yet. She will be amazed at the gift (I was planning on lending her one of mine when I got the spare battery, and letting her buy her own parts slowly). This will be a godsend for her and you are amazing :D! Funny you should mention paying it foward, last time I got tipped the person mentioned that, went and it was the same amount I had tipped when I got dinner that day. I hope the same kindness you've given me/her finds its way back to you! Also, I'm a guy.

You can take out a civil summons through the magistrate's office; it's just like going to court except it's heard by a magistrate and not a judge.

If the neighbor opened the package and it wasn't addressed specifically to HER, then she can get into a whole lot of trouble because it is a Federal Offense.

Chances are, she will have to reimburse you the cost of the products & the shipping as well as damages and fines for you to take her to court and she may even have to appear before a Federal Judge for breaking Federal laws but the DA will handle that, not you although you may be called to testify against her.

She's in deep doo-doo and she probably knows it and is banking on the fact that you won't do anything. I'd personally have her head on a platter but then again, I only have a small amount of money to work w/ each month!

I realize that e-cigs and supplies are not that costly esp when compared to analogs but still, I have to budget them in b/c right now, the only income we have (supporting DH, youngest daughter, & myself) is my SSDI. I'm filing for my DH as he can't work anymore so we are stretched pretty thin. Plus, my temperament and sense of right and wrong wouldn't let her get by with it. I'm just made that way.

What if someone had taken her paychecks or her Social Security Check? How would she feel? Do you think she'd let it stand if she knew who did it? I doubt it seriously so don't let her walk all over you by doing what she'd never allow someone to do to her.

Just my 2 cents worth, your mileage may vary.

So when I was placing my last order from shawn, I was heading out of town so I had the order sent to my friend/coworkers house because I didn't want it sitting in the sun on my front step. Now apparently my coworker gave me the wrong apartment number and it was delivered to her neighbors apartment. Flash foward to now, the delivery confirmation has been sent when it was delivered and I am back in town, yet the neighbor wont give her the package.

I am hoping Shawn or anyone has some suggestions for how to get it from this lady. We don't know for sure that she has it, as she says she doesn't but it sounds like she does. My coworker was explaining it to her so she wouldn't think it was anything illegal, and the way the neighbor answered it hinted that she had opened it an used it (There was an XL 510 battery in the order).

I know it is a federal offense to basically steal someones mail as she has (most likely) done. I don't want to go through the process of doing anything legally about it because it seems like it would be an extremely drawn out and lengthy process. But I also want my dang package as it was a 47 dollar order (battery, cartomizers, 4 bottles of juice). I am planning having my coworker call USPS about it (the order was in her name because she owed me some money). But does anyone have any helpful suggestions or something. I'm currently vaping on crappy chinese menthol and I can't last long on this stuff. I know none of it is shawns fault, he mailed the package to right were I said it should go.
