Welp I'm soon to be a 2 Provari owner after only having my first one for a week. My gf just ordered me a Satin Silver full size with 18650 extension and one each 18650/18490 batteries. This will be my birfday present which is a week from this Monday. Now I am seriously considering selling the mini, getting another regular and grabbing another of each size battery. I like the form factor of the mini. Just hate the extremely short battery life.

Nice going Garemlin! When my second was being delivered I was trapped having a car serviced. I didn't even care, just went to the PO the next day with the slip and got it from behind the counter, after all, I did already have a Provari to vape on I figure that with the money I am saving by being cig free, what's a few PV's really in the grand scheme of things.

Classies for me ... over 3 purchases, I picked up 3 black minis, which came with 8 batteries, charger, 2 extended end caps, 18650 extender, an RSST and an IBTanked Halfling ... all for much cheaper than new, and seriously, they all work the same.

The classies is a great place to grab a good deal.

Why not get an extension cap for the mini and run it 18490?
I've got one of each, and they both sport 18490's almost ALL the time. I don't like 18650 size, and like you, rarely want to have a 3 hour battery only. But I actually really like the Mini/Extension cap look and feel...

Or not - you could sell/buy and take a minimum hit, for sure...

I can't stand 350 batteries.. And battery life only gets worse as they age...


I'd hold off on deciding what to do with the mini until you use the 490 & 650 of the full-size for a while, to see what works & what doesn't work for you..


The length & weight of 650 bothers me sometimes when carrying it around..

Yet, I have large hands & prefer holding it in 650.. Obviously also prefer the longer battery life.. Both of which are more than enough for me to keep it in 650 mode...

But you might find the opposite, who knows.. in which case, getting an extension cap for the mini might be the best bet...

Yeah getting the extension ring is a possibility. I'd probably get the Tatroe ring over the Provape extension. After all I already have the mini and it has the blue LED. Maybe use the mini as a 18490 for on the go and keep the silver as an 18650 for home use. I'll have to see how battery life is with the 18490 and how I will tolerate the size of the 18650.

The new silver has the red LED. I'm fine with that. That extra money went towards the extension ring.
