I started about a week ago and have gone from 1.5+ PAD to 9 analogs. I told myself when I started I wasn't going to set a smoke free date for myself but, I think I'm doing ok. Cravings have gotten less and less and I keep working on it. Analogs are also starting to not taste as good and are getting less satisfying. Hoping I can go analog free by this time next week. We shall see...

That is the big thing, even though you think you are still doing bad by smoking you should start to notice that packs last longer and longer. I have had a pack in my bedroom for 6 months now. I still look at it every once in awhile and I have had 3 or 4 cigs in that time but I still think of myself as an ex-smoker because I do not depend on them anymore. Every cig that you avoid is a step in the right direction

Congrats!!! I was a PAD smoker for 20 years and the first month or so vaping was hard for me, too. I "cheated" and still smoked but ive only had 2 analogs in 4 weeks and i feel so much better and vaping is it for me! The two analogs i had honestly made me want to ralph.

Your doing great, its tough, just hang in there!!! Dont worry if you get all crazy and angry and mean, that's part of it. I was so awful for 2 solid weeks.

If you set a date and it works out, great, if not no biggie, just roll with it. You rock!!!

Good job. keep it up and you'll be off the analogs in no time. What really helped me was testing the water before I dove in head first. What I mean by that is I would test myself by leaving my cigs at home if I was going to be gone for a few hours to see how much I would crave a smoke. It turned out that the vape was all that I needed and quitting was a breeze. Best of luck and congratulations on cutting back so much. :)

I've been kind of doing the same. I leave my smokes in my car at work and today was the first day I went all day at work without one and really didn't even think about having one. Also cut out my after morning shower smoke. Cut down from 6 driving to and from work to 4. And it's about time for my last smoke of the night, but I'm not even into it right now.

The wife just started a couple days ago and quickly realized the knock off ego doesn't give near the satisfaction as my evic does. Looks like we'll be purchasing some more vaping stuff this week :)

Glad to hear it. Also wanted to share a little trick that really helped me a ton my first few weeks. When I was craving for a smoke I would tell myself to go and vape for 15-20 minutes and after that if I absolutely must have a smoke then go ahead. Essentially just putting it off and reassuring myself that vaping was quenching that thirst. Anyways I wish you the very best of luck.

YOu mean you didn't mean to type vamping?

I thought after the voop thread, maybe vamping was something new....then I quickly read through your post about going through so many pads a day.... I thought vamping vamping+cramping, like a womens issue or something. Should have have actually read your post....
