So what do you prefer better.......Clearos or Cartos

Hey guys Im new to the vape seen, only been about 3 months for me now. Been vaping with a Provari 2.5 and a kanger aerotank.

What I would like to know is from what would I get the best tasting from? Some juices Ive purchased were like a burnt or had no flavor.
Maybe it was the juices but some juices have flavor. But I would like to know which would I get the best flavoring from.
Please put ur recommendation and why that would help out alot. Thanks guys and happy vaping

juices often taste a whole lot different on different setups.

the kayfuns have a reputation for flavor.

I like cartotanks, but in all fairness, I haven't tried the latest generation of clearos.

In order of preference:

• rebuildable drip atomizer or 510 drip atomizer
• rebuildable tank atomizer (Kayfun)
• cartotank vs vertical coil / ceramic-wicked Mini Nautilus clearotank
• cartomizer solo
• clearomizer

Clearomizers use only a tiny silica string for the wick; silica is not a great flavor carrier, but is relatively resistant to burning. Designed for ease of use in filling and replacing the coil head.

Cartomizers use polyfill as the wick; a good flavor carrier, but is not resistant to burning. Cartotanks have a slightly higher learning curve in setup than a clearomizer.

The new ceramic-wick of the Mini Nautilus is a hybrid carto/clearo head, with the best characteristics of a cartomizer and ease of use of a clearomizer.

Rebuildables use either organic cotton, cellucotton (rayon), or Japanese cotton for the wick, the best flavor carriers but will burn if not kept wet with e-liquid. Higher learning curve due to the fact of learned skill of making coils and wicks, and needing to know Ohm's Law.

510 drip atomizer uses no wick, so there's no alteration of the flavor by a wick material.

I'll try answering the actual question. Between the two choices cartomizers are definitely better than clearomizers for taste. I also like the tighter draw. Cartomizers are cheap, why not just try?

I have alot of different Clearomizers and a few cartomizer tanks. I like both for different Vape situations. I just wish that the Carto tanks were easier to fill because the taste is better from them when I'm social vapeing. The clearomizers work better when I'm out and about with work or errands, so each has a special place in my Vapeing lifestyle. You can never have too many set ups to choose from.

Why not atomizers? Cisco Spec? HH.357? Absolutely love dripping and Avid is a great company. Also check out Avid's Amp tank.

That's debatable. Especially once you consider initial setup of a Carto or Carto tank vs keeping a clearo happy and producing. Some brands more than others of course.

Yes there's some things to learn to get you rolling with a Carto tank. But once you're vaping it's pain free. With a clearo you fill it, wait a couple minutes for the wick to saturate if you didn't juice it up... and go. But! Then the fun never ends. You'll be a fluid movement, hydraulics, weather and atmospheric pressure expert by the end of the season... IF you don't get into rebuilding them and willingly take on more knowledge.

Carto tanks. They just work. They taste great too.

I started with ego tube tanks (don't remember the actual name but, before everything got more popular) but, than moved to cartos with the lava tube. They were better than the tube tanks. They had good great taste and cranked them up with 3ohm. Clears did not do much for me.

That's me, too. And I'm probably jinxing myself to say it - but I've had very little trouble with them in the 9 months I've been vaping.

I started out with cartos, I hated them all I got was burnt socks flavor! I have since moved down the line to an iClear 16 clearo, and OH MAMA! I LOVE it!!! I have flavor galore! And the vapor production is awesome!

Best flavor I've had is from a Spheroid. So, I guess that would sort of be a vote for a carto?
