So what is so great about these "hybrid" mods?

They have the Rainbow Heaven hybrid clone up for pre-order. It is still $70, but much cheaper than the hybrids out.

Maybe I'm just rehashing what was already said, but the point is to not limit the power to the atomizer with a 510 connection. While the popularity is probably very much a coolness factor, if you look up what a high end mechanical will cost and then look up what a high end genesis atomizer will cost, the fact that you get both in a hybrid, it starts to make sense (somewhat!) why they are so costly.

I already am on the Rainbow Heaven hybrid pre-order. That way I can see if I want to actually shell out the million dollars for a legit hybrid.
Some of the chinese stuff is ok and some is just crap. Its kind of a double edged sword Ive seen people complain that genys suck they can never get them to work right but they also got the cheapest thing out there so it stands to reason its not going to be that great. I would say compromise get a middle of the line item used and then you can sell it for a little less than what you payed if you dont really like it.
Thats just me though. I have no clue about the Rainbow ( wonder if the Chinese know what the rainbow means in America;-) ) I dont really keep up with the Chinese stuff might be an ok device.

Yeah, but the only thing you're eliminating is the atty connector. You still have all the other connection issues (button, contacts, type of battery).

So....how much difference does it ACTUALLY make? Anyone have a way to measure it? .1 ohms max is my bet. Anything more and you should clean the standard device's threads/contacts.

BTW I'm not much of a 510 connector fan so it's not that I love those connectors or anything.

Also, collecting aside in my comments.

Rainbow Heaven actually has come out with some decent stuff. Their MK-TBS or whatever was very well received by most people into mechanical mods. VapeSquad called it something like the best mechanical mod to come out of China. That is why I'm hyping their hybrid. No one has reviewed it yet, but I feel like it is a reasonably safe bet.

I can totally understand the collectors' interest, as I was once an avid numismatist and have many unusual coins in my collection. Some people (like SWMBO) will never understand why I paid $100 for a half dollar just because it was minted in 1829 and has a lettered edge.

That coin is now worth almost three times that amount, but I will never sell it. My estate probably will, once I get on the wrong side of the turf.

I hope so cause if your getting it for 70 dollars from China and its a good product that give some competition then some of the upper end mods will come down Ill keep an eye out for how its received thanks for bringing it up

They dont allow that sort of talk on here, and frankly I would think you would not be bragging about going to those sort of beaches on the internet!

I think the crank on your hardhat is racked down too tight.

Cool never saw a confederate paper quarter I bet that's worth more than the dollar one!

The Confederate paper currency is pretty cheap, even today. There is a lot of counterfeit material out there that is hard for noobs to spot, so prices are cheap unless the item is verified authentic. Mine is.

I also have some half cents, several rare English coins and rare uncirculated Morgan dollars stored in a bank vault.

My estate will have to sell those, too.

One of my early jobs was a coin roller at a local bank, and we had the local newspaper account. I got to the point where I could load a bag of 1,000 quarters and listen as the hopper unloaded onto the spinning platen. The sound of silver hitting metal and the accuracy of the machine let me know exactly which roll held the silver quarters. That 1900 Quarter was used to buy a newspaper sometime in 1987.
