So what should I get for my birthday

So, after a lovely spoiling evening for my wife's birthday, she told me that for my birthday she would like to get me a nice mod. So...authentics, nice designs, hard hitting, 18650, and magnetic switches prefered, and most importantly in stock, or soon to be in stock, what should I get? I currently have a hcigar Stingray X which I have been pretty happy with but it's not without it's quirks, and a nemesis clone which I don't bother with.

I've looked at the smpl mod and I am intrigued, but hybrid mods make me nervous because I don't have button top batteries. I've also looked at the Angels and Demons, and Anubis mods tonight, and the Workhorse in recent past. What else does the ECF collective have for me?

I looked in that thread and didn't quite find what I was looking for. Aside from the hard hitting, I do have a thing for nice etchings etc. I'm looking in the 150-250$ range.

I don't use button top batteries. I have a XXIX by Bay City Vapors and a 2014 Phatom Brass Stingray, both came with hybrid adapters and I have never had problems. Now with my copper quasar I had to adjust the center pole so that it still out a tiny bit from the 510 connection threads....but other than that my batteries without button tops don't have a problem with my setup's with hybrid adapters.

To answer your question, in my best opinion.

Battery mod "TAMERLAN"

It says it is no longer in stock but I saw a post here where they had some so I used their contact form asking about getting on a waiting list and they sent me a link to a form on their site to order one the next day.

It's 120 euros. At the current exchange rate, that is $151.98 with free shipping.

Ugh, Been through the list several times and I am starting to narrow it down. I just wish all the nice copper mods didn't have hybrid adaptors, and websites were more forthcoming about which mods had magnetic switches. I'm kinda leaning towards the red copper akuma at this point, the ragnorok (though I might just get that for myself since the cost is reasonable), the Shamrock is also loaded out to my preference, but the design is meh. The search continues.

I definitely love the look of that mod...wonder if I can convince the wife to grab that one. Couple others on that site that I like, but again they don't say whether the switch is spring loaded or magnets...

Agreed. The switch is a big deal to me and a lot of the descriptions don't even mention it.
It's your birthday and they only come once a year.

I can't answer that yet, I just ordered it. My Stingray X Black has really nice threads but the switch is a little crunchy if it's not pushed from the center. It's pretty new yet and I read that it goes away when the switch breaks in.

Got the same issue with my black stingray x clone. The magnet upgrade helped, as did filing down the bottom piece of the switch. I still think I need to sand out the piece a bit and maybe grind out the hole where the rice pub sits because it keeps sticking a bit.
