I hope that vaperev has new employees, last time I was in there I was treated rudely and ignored cause I wasnt asian. I will never recommend shopping there nor do I refer them. I was there 2 days after the soft opening and will never go there again.

I looked at both those myself, they are nice! It was just something about that red copper with polished ss that caught my eye.
I got my Stingray X from them. I was very pleased with their service. Conversed with someone there through several emails prior to my purchase.
Recommended.
I sent them an email earlier and got a response. I'm considering it, I did some conversions and it seems like it works out to be about 10 bucks more after shipping. Apparently the only mark of authenticity is the serial number, that makes me nervous. How do I go about verifying that to make sure I got a legit one?
That's a good question. I would like to think that a business wouldn't risk their reputation selling a clone as an authentic.
The customer service rep said the JD tech mods do not come with a authenticity card or anything like that, but that I could contact their distributor to determine legitimacy. Makes me a bit leary.

Thats in keeping with what I was told. I think I'm going to order on the down low tomorrow and just tell the wife it is a clone ;-p

Couldn't do it. Thankfully,I think she got tired of hearing me hem and haw about it and told me to order the dam thing. So ordered I did. Course I can't touch it till my birthday a month away..but at least I know it will be here...in my basement...waiting for me...for weeks.

Looks nice..really nice definitely the right choice, almost ordered the phantom brass since I have a few other copper clones I am interested in, but this was the way to go... I'm gonna have to get a few authentic rdas to do it justice. How's the button and threads. Clearly the finish is awesome. Gonna have to try that five pawns as well.
I had to clean it up a bit with some white vinegar, it shined up nice. The threads are great. The button is different than the X, I think they call it the old style. I prefer it to the X's button, easier to push and a slightly longer throw. Still a little crunchy if pushed off center. I just ordered the copper afc ring for the Zenith V2 to finish out the look. I don't know how you're going to be able to wait to use it.
