6 months ago, that bug was literally rusting in to the ground. It's now 100% restored but not 100% original. There's a pioneer stereo in it now instead of a crystal AM radio - and it has a 1600cc engine instead of the 1200cc.

Custom 3XAA plastic box bottom feeders can be found but are usually 5.0v regulated. Missys Wet Box came in 5.0v if I remember correctly. I see that Old Goat is back in business but as far as I know, he just does 3.7v mods.

sweet, im all for getting a classic car going again, orig or not. Come to think of VW though, i havent seen a VW bus driving around in my area in ages, wonder where they all went.

is that a dual carb 1600cc? Cant say i blame ya for replacing the crystal radio with a modern pioneer deck.

I have a car im working on restoring, well just repairing it right now mostly. Its a 1985 Nissan 300zx Turbo. Has the orig VG30ET engine w/ 123k miles on it, has a new custom exhaust since the old one was rotted out and full of holes. The electric adjustable shocks are gone and replaced with Tokiko Illuminas. So far ive fixed the pioneer cd player that was on it (wasnt wired up right), put on a new exhaust, replaced a few tires, replaced some engine parts (distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, intake pipe coupler) had to buy a new interior door handle, had to take apart the door lock actuator and lube it up since it was real gummed up. Fixed the interior lights, and fixed the retracting head lights.

It still needs quite some work, it needs new rear springs, a manual transmission mount insulator, a new rear differential mount and some new sub frame bushings and control arm bushings. Needs a new coolant temp sensor and oil pressure switch. Its also missing the rear speakers so i need tor replace those and fix the T-Top seals as they leak just a little.

When i first bought it the driver side power seat was fried, so i picked up a spare set of manual sliding seats from another Z and bolted it in, but now i got 2 diff colored seats as the orig passenger seat was in better shape then the passenger seat i got from the other Z so i left it in haha. Other then that its in pretty good shape, real strong motor, doesnt leak or use any oil, the stock wastegate is at 6.8psi so she def gets up and goes. The syncro is shot in 2nd gear though so i may replace the transmission or rebuild it down the road, its just a borg warner t5 used, like the ones used in mustangs so a rebuild kit for it is like $130 bux off ebay.

but onto the topic, does missy still make those 5v mods? I have 3 old goats, one is busted up i had for almost a year before it became un practical to use, but i figure its good for some spare parts, then i have 2 other goats, real good 3.7v bottom feeder, i modified it myself with a neck lanyard so i just wear it around my neck.

On goats website he mentions a VV box mod bottom feeder but i dont think its in production, Krimson Kustoms makes one i guess and he might still be making em, i shot em a PM but havent heard back yet - im really thinkin hard on that bogger box though, have any of you guys ever owned one or have one? or would consider one? i wonder what brand and ohm atomizer to use with one that can go up into higher volts like that, its new terrirtory for me.

There are a few threads talking about the boggers box. Everything I've read so far has been completely positive. Creniker has some nice things to say.

The only thing even slightly negative I've read about the VV Bogger is that it requires a screwdriver (provided with the mod) to change the voltage and the hole the trim pot is in is small and a little hard to see for those of us with aging eyes.

I like the voltage wheel on the VV REO Woodville quite a lot, and my understanding is that the VV Grands will be the same. Personally, I'd feel like it would be a bit of a step backward to go to a VV mod that requires a screwdriver... but then, once my voltage is set for performance and flavor, I rarely change it, so it might not be as much of a hassle as I think.

Thanks, its not in production. just one of my personal builds. The original bugatti was my first one but doesnt have the display and extra display features.

Np Str8, sucks to hear its not available.. i prob couldn't afford your price anyway for one haha

im afraid i have to pass on the bogger, it has no on/off switch, it has no neck lanyard, id have to mutilate it to make my own and it also has no voltage display that i can see in the pictures, id have to buy a separate one, however it does look pretty.

as far as the VVPV goes, it is interesting, im not a fan of how the tube is on the outside of the unit? and i gotta drill my own tips or something? i don't even see the hole'd tips or what ever the hole goes into for sale, so ill have to pass on that unit as well.

i guess i just want an upgrade from what im using now, any bottom feeder with an on/off switch, plastic or similar cheap material, nice high amp style switch, uses standard 510, and if its not a VV, then it has to at least use a 18650 battery for added longevity as these 900mah 3.7v im using don't really cut it a whole day for me anyway - im willing to spend about $100 i suppose, but i haven't found one yet accept for kustom kools stuff possibly, or if someone would build me one to those specs if i paid them the money

What are the amp/watt limits?

Sorry tj I haven't been on here. I think it is 2.5 A which is more than good enough for my vaping wattage.. The price is what is great and it suposedly vapes real good. I just ordered it because I've never tried a box mod and the price was right!:)

As to the VVPV: Tubing is just how a top feeder works. I can't say much about that. It is what it is. There is a drip tip adapter, though. It's a toss up between that and my VV Woodville as to which is my favorite PV.

There are a bunch of bottom feeders that take an 18650. REO Grand (there are some in stock right now). Redsky - Monkey Boxx - VModXL - and probably several others.

As to a completely custom job.. You'll have to use google because I can't remember for sure which other vaping forum is off limits for linking in ECF posts, but if I was going to have a completely custom mod made just for me with whatever features I need (in your case a VV feeder with a lanyard attachment, it sound like), I think I'd try to get mamu to do it. Google Mamu Mods. Mamu makes some really killer stuff.

Okay, i checked those out and i like the donkey boxx, but its HUGE holy moly haha, ive emailed both mamu and the builder of redsky and we'll see what they have to say about my specifications, i basically emailed them this:

has to be able to go above above 5 volts if desired (6v would be fine?)
needs a voltage display
needs voltage adjustment (doesnt have to be easy, can be a screw or anything like that)
needs a spot for hooking up a neck lanyard to wear around the neck
needs an on/off switch
needs to be a bottom feeder 3 to 5ml bottle doesnt matter to me, some where around there
needs to have 510 threading
needs a catch cup
needs at least a 2 amp horn style switch
needs to be plastic or something relatively cheap

keepin my fingers crossed
