I have read sooooo many posts about all of these awesome hybrid mods, and people asking about the Chinese mods. Then plenty of people rail on the Chinese mods because they are ripping manufacturers off (GGTS). I get that what the Chinese do (stealing someone else's hard work) is very wrong. My issue is, it seems like none of the manufacturers of these really nice mods EVER HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK!!! I can't support them if there is nothing to buy. It's really frustrating. I look over at 310vapers and there is not even 1 thing on the ENTIRE SITE in stock. Not even batteries ffs! How does that even work? Electonicstix no Zens... Wildvalley no Ihybrids, Cloudsofvapor no gg's. I have read there are lists where people wait for months, and that also some of these things go on sale and are gone within minutes. So people wait until the big release, and keep trying to purchase it. Pressing buttons frantically in the hopes that they will FINALLY be blessed with one of these hybrids. I don't feel like being subjected to either of these scenarios. I really want to reward people for all of the hard work they put into their mods, but the business models some of these manufacturers baffles me. I know people are going to say supply and demand.... but really that is not a good excuse. It's bad business, and poor planning. If demand gets higher the business needs to grow, or the Chinese will grow it for you, and steal your hard work. A lot of times doing it a complete disservice. I understand the anger and frustration with the Chinese stealing your designs. I'd like to support people in my community, Help me help you... Pretty please?

Most are hand made in one man shops. So quite naturally, they can only make so many in a day. This means the number that are available is what it is, and not likely to change any time soon.

I have run into the same problem when I tried to purchase one of GG's rebuildable atty. Subscribed on all "notify me" options I could find half a year ago, but still have no reply from any of the vendors. Even considered buying a hybrid, but none of the hybrids are in stock. Really frustrating. Also made me think that there is a good business opportunity here... Therefore, I am hoping to release a mod soon. 
They are beautiful and hand made but the prices are just too high for me. I would love one of the ihybrids but the only one I liked is NEVER going to be made again! That does not make sense to me. It made me very sad.

As you where taking all this time to tell us there are no Zen's at electronicstix , they have had camo sidewinders in stock for a week or more no line no fighting they are great, like the 1st so good got another
I just want to say that I understand where you are coming from. After looking at these mods it is VERY unlikely these are "hand made". These look like they were made on a CNC machine. (I am a toolmaker). I can tell you why they only come into stock once in a while...........it is a simple business plan. Keep quantity low, keep demand high, that way prices remain high which means huge profits!!! There is nothing wrong with this business model, as a matter of fact it is pretty darn smart! But I agree that China will fill in the gaps if American mod makers do not start pumping out more mods at lower prices.
I really do not think the American mod makers care though. There products are of a high quality that is far superior to China garbage.
But I do feel your pain and hope they start to make a few more mods to keep up with demand.
I am planning on starting to build some new mods soon. Already have an engineer working with me to design some really cool mods. Hopefully we will start building them in the near future.

A lot of the modders/hybrid makers are bad or inexperinced businessmen. Good scientists, artists, innovators but can't afford or don'r know how to run a business. Plus there is this element of scarcity that rewards inefficient business decisions. I know that Zen is trying to keep up with demand lately.
Eh, its all just economy. Same quality, a fraction of the price? Im getting all chinese. Business is a fair game, and im not one of the players, just a piece of the play ground, no use worrying about the game.
Craig - it will take Time and Patients to get one of the high-end mods (GGTS, etc..) It took me over 6 months to get my first GGTS, I bought it in pieces whenever I could. I know this is not what you want to hear, and I was like you in the beginning, I had the money and wanted one but could not find one anywhere. One thing I can recommend, besides the Classifieds, is to stalk the builders forum and see when they will be sending out more units. GG is currently making new parts for the GGTS and a second pre-order will be starting soon for the Ithaka.

I meant the Zenesis not the Z-Atty or the Sidewinder. I already have plenty of Genesis type atomizers, and mods. Besides the whole hunter camo thing is just not me. I know that the genesis atomizer is my favorite so far and want a sleek unit that looks nice as a single piece without using the 510 connection. The Machiavelli and Juggernaut look good too. I really like the Ihybrid look (except that it is mostly aluminum) with the rugged material of a Zenesis. I guy can dream right?
I am pretty excited about it. Going to be a little while because I am only going to be able to work on them on Sundays, and they take a good amount of time to program and machine. But the engineer who is designing them has become a good friend of mine and he is designing hybrid models. I have access to good software and CNC lathes and mills at work. So hopefully we will have some cool stuff in a few months!!

I couldn't agree more with the op. I'm hoping this changes as more modders start appearing. Maybe once there's a lot more selections available, they will be forced to lower prices or produce more. It's as if all these mods out there are "Apple" products and anything else less priced are inferior.

The fact that some of these hybrids and mods aren't regularly available is what's keeping these prices so high. People are willing to pay the high price because they feel if they don't buy it, they won't get another chance.
I do believe some of the mods and hybrids are very high quality. I just don't think most of them are really worth more than $100. I know in the end, I will at least own one hybrid and pay the high price for it. I really have no choice because these are the prices that are now the standard. I know some people won't agree with me and that's fine. I just don't have the time and energy to go through the hassle. When I used to smoke, if they didn't have any marlboro lights, I'd just get some reds or anything that was available. I didn't care as long as I got my nicotine. Why the heck can't vaping be like that?

I wouldnt say the zattyu is a hybrid, technically it relies on a standard mod. And the camo sidewinders are.. well.. not very attractive if you ask me. I'm not a hunter who will be vaping in the shrubs or have the need to have everything decked out in camo. I too have been stalking for a nice hybrid and you are correct its darn near impossible. Except for people who have to know the manufacturer and have like 5+ of them. I will keep trying to obtain one, but cant dedicate my life to it.
My post in no way takes away from the zattyu as i own one and LOVE it. And the sidewinder is cool, just not a fan of the camo.

1. you want to vape a genesis atomizer possibly in a hybrid. tons of them. chinese and other. cheap, good, bad, generally acceptable
2. you want to have a specific brand of hybrid. zenesis for example. you have to come to terms with the quantity produced by the manufacturer and that's it. i don't see people complaining why Ferrari does not mass produce their cars.

I wouldn't compare a Ferrari with a brand of hybrid. Ferrari has been a name brand for decades and is a exotic super car. A hybrid is basically a tube, batteries combined with a device. Not everyone, even if they saved their money in a life time can afford a Farrari, but everyone here I'm pretty sure can afford $200-$400 for a hybrid. I question whether or not it's worth the price and hassle.
I agree with the op that even with high demand for a product, it's a wonder why it's not mass produced to try to meet demand. To me it just doesn't make any sense. I'm just looking at this in a noob prospective. I've only been vaping for 3 months. My view on this might change later.
i understand your point and i agree, but you didn't get my point which was that the end result is what matters. the thing is that if you want something very specific you have to wait to get it. i personally don't care about the name in my pv as long as it performs good. when the nice things will be more available i might get one but till then makes no point stressing yourself with it. i have some chinese genesis, they work flawlessly so i'm very happy with them.

Wow first post, long time reader. Never really needed to post since most of my questions are answered on ecf. But i totally feel you on this topic.
I'm trying to open a store and i can't even purchase some of the those high end mods let alone get them to respond to me about wholesaling their products to me.
If they don't want money that's fine. I went as far as contacting a machinist to make me one just so I have my own mod, but the cost to produce is expensive and not worth it.
At what cost will one go to get one?I don't have time to wait 6-months we need it to be available in sufficient quantities. I could've bought a poldiac when it was available but after reading some issues decided not to. I contacted most of the euro modders korean modders and hungarian filipinos. No reply except grand vapor which i commend for quoting me.
I'm not going to stalk them for my business. At least provaris are widely available. Super T needs to step it up because i would love to carry their stuff. Didn't bother preordering they probably can't make the amount i want. I have to give it up to the chinese for being able to mass produce everything on a super scale. Quality is subpar of course, but you pay for what you get and sometimes you get a bargain for what the product is. Some companies are making progress with their clones though.
I"ll still try and contact them again as the demand is still high until the trend changes again. I'll just predict we'll see modular apv's soon as someone will start perfecting it and then china will repeat what they do best.

China will mass produce with the quality you want, it will cost more of course but they will do it ! You see a lot of crap because vendors want to buy cheap to habe better profits or the audience they target.
I have spend my share with "expensive" mods and hybrids and honestly most are just hype (dont know why the hype they all do the same ....) or in my case i just felt this tubes dont worth that much specially the genesis attys wich pretty much are just a little tank with couple of holes and a cap.
