I completely agree with OP. sorry for the late chime in everyone. But honestly OP makes a point and I have been searching for the past month and a half for ihybrids, zenesis, orions, noble1's, poldiacs, and chi_you's. No luck whatsoever. All I can really advise is to follow the forums, manufacturers' websites, and online retailers to get your best shot. If I was still in California, it would be so much easier. Unfortunately for me I am overseas in Germany serving my long tour. Although I do have one advantage over many people is I am somewhat near two manufacturers; Golden Greek and Caravela. My two cents

Well... I've had it, I tried and tried and then thought screw this. I drew my own mod. Brought it to a machinist friend of mine, and will make my own. They are not that complicated. I am a tattoo artist by trade and have design and had many tattoo machines manufactured in the past. I know what it entails, didn't want the headache, but guess there is no other way. When I talked to my machinist friend he said he could produce 1000 a month. Will update when they are ready.

As per the OP-
I have no issue with buying a Smoktech Natural + RSST since I'll more likely get hit by a meteorite after being struck by lightning while holding a winning lottery ticket than find anything not chinese in stock in the next 6 months unless I feel like sitting on a waiting list after sending payment. Hell even the Natural+RSST combo was a pre-order, but only a 2 day delay.

I too am getting tired of waiting. I fell in love (as im sure a lot of you did) with the Illuminati ihybrid. Then I hear that a similar version of the pure will be made! HELL YES!!! Oh wait. I have to own the old version first? Crap. So now i'm in process of running around with my sketchbook like a crazy person, talking to every machine shop or place with a CNC in my local area. I want my OWN mod. They think i'm slow. Oh well, we persevere.

I know it's apples and oranges but my interim solution is the Fusions SG-1, Nautilus atty and tweaked Sigelei #19. If you are adventurous enough to to work on the #19 to fix some of it's shortcomings, it should be a pretty sweet setup.
