So who else is anticipating the birth of their Chuck in the next few weeks?

Steampunk is a cool idea. Are you thinking in terms of graphics or design?

Definitely design. Lots of exposed metal, copper, brass, and similar tones; the only real qualifier for steampunk design that I think is valid is equipment that looks like it was manufactured from around 1870, maybe earlier, until 1900, 1910 or so. Applications that are mechanical in design, I was thinking more pneumatic than sprockets since the device produces vapor. I'd rather have the graphic applications as opposed to printed graphics, which I don't think would work well for this piece. I could see a gear/sprocket around the switch, but I decided to leave it up to Jeff, really.

I plan on eventually adding some period leather to whatever he makes, which I made him aware of, a strap, holster, or keeper of some sort. I've been lurking and reading reviews of various mods after being on my 510 for a good bit. I'm a stickler for good engineering, manufacturing, and assembly, and have been thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Jeff's operation. I can't wait to get my hands on my Chuck!

She's beautiful. People were commenting on that in the Saturday thread. Does the blue symbol mean anything in particular?

Two things in my life have kept me sane (sort of) all these years... smoking and reading.

It's not even the nicotine so much as the ritual of smoking.. I like ritual.. the lighting, the inhaling, the exhaling... this I have replaced with vaping.. little different but mostly the same...

Reading is the same with me.. it's a ritual.. the way a book feels in your hands, the page turning, the escape in to any world imaginable.

My favorite author writes a series of books about the Dark-Hunters and Were-Hunters. The Were-Hunters are my favorites.. while all of her characters are so perfectly flawed, the were's are the ones I identify with most.

Wow, long story for a simple question, so the simple answer is... The symbol is from the cover of the last were-hunter book she published.

I think it's those of us who are more addicted to smoking than to nicotine that PVs work best for.

And the name of the author is... ?

I ordered 5/24, today is day 16 or 17. I'm hoping mine is around the corner as well. This one is for my aunt, can't wait to try it out. She ordered Kentucky Wildcat graphics. Did you get a solid color or graphics?
