yea same here, been having fun enjoying my first chuck, so far im loving it, the built, feel, solidness, everything except the button :( but because of the button this chuck will only be used at home and in the car on the way to work, everything else ill use my overly priced piece of $#@% Joker, which has a bare wire inside, (dont ask long story, got it to work agian) since its smaller, and i might have to send it in since theres an "upgrade" or more like "fix the bugs" for the joker so at least ill have my new fav The Chuck!!!

Tenergy LiFePo4's have .55 max amp capacity, you'll kill them fast through constant over discharging. On the good side, they are LiFePo's so they most likely won't blow up, but they stand a good chance of venting.

Now take my comment at the begining of this about "not just any LiFePo4"....take the tenergy 3V LiFePo4 manufacturer say that it has a max drain rate of <550mA (.55A) ...again Amp draw on that carto is 2000mA...you're overstressing the battery by almost 4 times their capability that's going to lead to premature battery death and possible venting issues

Basically volts (of the device) divided by resistance (atomizer/cart) = draw. For instance mine is 6/3.4=1.76 or 1760mA draw. Those Tenergys would be worked well over 3 times the limit the manufacturer states.

I can only hope mine is on today's page of newborns. For my first Chuck I went with the Black Wrinkle, now I could see the advantage of customizing, you can tell when yours is really ready.

The wrinkle isn't super duper common, however if it's been around 14 or more days then there's a good chance it's yours.

yea i guess, but the lifepo4's im using right now are only 400mah, and one set last me about a full day and a half, so the ones i ordered are 750mah so what im planning is to load a freshly charged set in the morning and switch them out every morning.

even if their life gets cut short there only 3.05 each i believe, so the cost isnt too bad to replace them, but if they do act up on me then ill try some other type.

They're protected, and they're 600 nominal mAh, 900 maximum, so off the cuff I wouldn't expect that to be a real determination factor.

As far as their performance, they don't have max amp, so I'm unsure.. though I do believe they're better than the lifepo's in terms of battery life.

Personally I trust in the AW lifepo's, even though they say 550mAh, it's a more accurate mAh rating in my opinion since ultrafire finds new and interesting ways to measure theirs to get more impressive numbers, not sure if Tenergy does or not. Either way, I prefer these to anything else since they continually last me for over a day per charge and if the 500 recharge cycle is accurate, I don't plan on having to buy new ones for a year since I'm not overworking them. According to what I've been told by others around here, any other cr123 setup is pretty much going to be overworked.

Basically, in my case, when it comes to a potential pipebomb in my hand, I prefer a bit more costly but statistically proven to be able to handle any setup I can throw at it.
