Ok guys quick question..

Waiting.. got my new batteries in for the birth of my Big Chuck.. 18650 the first charge?? how long and then full drain or never full drain? or.. I know I have read this some where and I am sorry to ask the same question I know you have been asked a zillion times./../

please excuse the silly questions...

It ain't mine -- New Yawker, born and bred -- but it does have blue end caps.

The protection will kick in if you drain it too much, but it's not a good idea let it drain until the protection kicks in. You should never really let an 18650 go below 3.7 volts. If you're not going to use a multimeter, I suggest topping it off every day.
