Yes, you can. I vape mostly clean, clear ejuices and my regimen is very simple: once a week I just soak them in PGA (if you can't get PGA, a cheap, strong vodka is a good substitute) and once in a while I fill my
tanks with unflavored base (PG or PG/VG mix), increase the wattage a bit and vape that for a while until the
juice in the
tank runs clear. PG is a good solvent and this method of wet burning is gentler on the coil than dry burning. If you must dry burn, make sure not to apply too much heat--your regular wattage or a bit higher should suffice--and use short bursts of heat to avoid popping the coil.
If you don't (or can't) use alcohol, denture cleaning tablets are almost as good when it comes to coil cleaning--just get an unflavored variety, unless you like minty flavors. You can also drop your coils in a microwavable bowl, cover well with distilled water and nuke them for a few minutes. Just make sure that your coils are fully submerged in water.
That said, all coils are disposable and should be discarded as soon as the vapor production and/or flavor begin to deteriorate.
Good luck!
