I had that happen and it drove me nuts! I moderate the Women's Room.
What is happening is that someone has posted a message in the Social group..not the forum!
What you have to do is click on the notification, then to the left it will say your group name..click.
Now you will come to the page with member pictures or your forum, scroll down..keep going..a bit more.
Do you you see the social group discusion?
Click on the posts and you should see next to the names of those posting, one that has "This post is being moderated" go to the left of that name and click the box that says permalink, it should turn yellow.
(you are almost done)
Scroll down to the moderation drop down box at the bottom left, choose "approve thread" .(if it's not something really awful)
The box next to the moderation drop down named 'Go" will read 1 ..click and that takes care of that!
I am sorry but unless you are geekafied that's one of only 2 ways to get to the darn thread.
The other is to go to your profile manage and click on social groups and try to follow the bread crumbs.
If I were you I would post a message asking people to post in the forum or at least warn them that they were being tagged for a peek in by you.
I learned all this crap because I didn't get the "How To" manual..lol and had to click on everything in sight to figure it out! I just know there is a one click solution, but I never take the easy road....*sigh*
