Hello there, new to the forum :)

I am a 18 year old guy who has smoked some cigarettes, (I started when I was 15) but I've never been the type of person who smokes packs in a day, I am a very strange case

When I smoked, I smoked about 4-10 cigarettes per month, then stopped for 4-8 months and started smoking 4-10 cigs in one month again, but I had large pauses because I never became addicted to cigarette, my last cigarette was 2 months ago, I smoked about 10 cigarettes in May then stopped. Even today, I don't feel the need to smoke

But the reason I come to you, is because I want to buy an e-cig.

Even though I am not a hardcore smoker like most people who buy e-cigs, I smoke cigarettes when I'm with friends, because they smoke and when they smoke I feel the need to do it; I want to buy an e-cig to remove completely the tobacco cigarettes and have a healthy way to smoke with my friends. I wanted to buy the V2 nicotine free cigs, just to use it when I go out or when I am in my house.

What would you recommend to someone like me? I can't say I've smoked alot in my life, because I have not, I mean, 3 years of smoking small amount of cigs with large pauses is not a lot. But I want an e-cig to use it when I go out with friends

Sorry if I made a mistake on my writing, english is not my main language:unsure:

Edit: Just to add, my family has history of cardiac problems and high blood pressure, and my pop died of cancer. All my sisters and my mom smoke, they smoke alot more than I do, but I want a more healthy way to spend time with my buds.

My experience with cigalikes was not good. Although I appreciate v2 because it introduced me to vaping (I'd never seen anyone using ecigs until 6 months after I started), there are much better quality devices out there that cost less. I'd really suggest getting an eGo kit.

Also, not many people who use v2 seem to get zero nic. The couple orders I got from them that were 0mg were about 2 weeks from expiration and tasted awful. Completely different flavor than the other strengths.

Also something to remember about e-cigs/PV's is that it is very different from smoking analogs. BUT, often preferred :D
If you go into it expecting it to be like smoking an analog, you may be wondering what the hype is about. It's a different experience, but IMO and in many opinions definitely better than ciggies :vapor:

Are you looking for an e-cig that looks like an analog, or something like the eGo?

Oh, and I'd say that lower nic is good, but not nicotine free ;)

I'm looking for something that looks more like a cigarette, like the V2

And I don't know about the dangers of Nicotine in the body, I know it is the other 4k+ chemicals that harm the body on regular cigs, but I try to avoid as much harm as possible:) Call me a ....., but I have a record of high blood pressure, cardiac disease and cancer in my family

If you've already been smoking, 4mg-6mg is almost nothing (especially in comparison to tobacco) but it'll add some throat hit. 0nic will have a little more flavor, but feel like you're breathing in a febreeze bottle. No throat hit.

No apologies needed :) In the kit it comes with 2 batteries (which is like the stick of a ciggie) 5 pre-filled cartomizers (which is like the .... of a ciggie) ~ a wall charger and a USB charger. I also suggest getting a case for it as well (you can buy that on the website too)

All you do is charge the batteries, screw on the pre-filled cartomizers, and you're off and running.

I'd order an extra box or 2 of pre-filled cartomizers to get ya going though.

Man, I know I won’t be the first to suggest this and I'm all about not smoking, a lot of us started out smoking because we socially smoked with friends at a young age. Having said that, if you’re not addicted to nic, why start in the first place? I got the social part of it and at 18 it's hard not to be one of the "herd". I would worry about getting hooked on nic, vaping is easer and in a lot of cases easier to get away with then smoking. I would fear that after vaping for a bit you find it's not fulfilling the social aspect you were looking for and go back to cigs but now with a physical need as opposed to just a social need. My sympathies are with you, it's hard being young and being part of a social group that smokes and having your family smoking at home doesn’t help either. My advice, chew gum, don't smoke, don't vape. This is just my opinion. If you’re not hooked don't open yourself up to it, don't play with fire. And just maybe taking a stand and not smoking will inspire your friends to give it up as well. Sorry for preaching to ya and congratulation in recognizing the danger and looking for alternatives.
