ive spent the last couple of days reading what i can about ecigs and i decided to order them. out of impulse and some reviews (before i found this site) i ordered the blu starter. after reading this forum i am doubting my choice in the blu. i smoke about a pack a day of lights sometimes less.

my question or advice needed is this.

after reading the topics here i found that the blu has some major issues with the draw and the "atty" ive also read about battery issues. i o like the convenience of the ability to have the pack with me all the time so it does have some advantages. back to my question... should i cancel my order ( hasn’t been processed yet) and get the joye 510? or should i keep the blu and mod it? i also ordered some of the liquid to refil the "carts" in case i have some problems.

i really want this to work and i will do what ever it takes BUT being new it needs to be convenient, at least at first, in order for me to take to it..

i want to start off simple but NEED it to be effective.

i read the topic about " all you need to know about the 510" or what ever its called. i am just looking for some user advice up front and quickly so i can cancel my blu if needed and re-order what ever.

Please let me know what a new guy should do or try to have the best chance of switching.

thank you in advance for any help

Yes I would cancel the BLU order (since you are in a position to) and head over to Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

The lovely ladies there will treat you right, and you will get a better piece of equipment so you don't get frustrated and spend more $$$ on a 510 anyways (that could be better put towards more juice!!)

:D

ok cool. im in live chat now with blu canceling my order. i looked at the Cignot page and i see a few starter kits, to re cover my original concern, what can i get to make this an easy as possible transition?

i dont want to be stuck with a dead battery or no useful "carts" or what ever its called.

i smoke a little more while at work to make the time pass faster, by that i mean i go to the break area often. so i will need to make sure what ever i get will last me all day.. also i travel a lot for work so i will need to have what ever it will take to not run out of supplies.

im sorry if this has been covered but i see lots of talk on this subject and its confusing me with all the opinions.

i just want simple (to start) and not run out of supplies.. im only really interested in regular cigarette type experience. ( not flavored or what ever)

I was able to cancel the Blu, i went to Cignot and ordered the 510 starter kit and i already got an email that my order shipped.

ive smoked for 25 years or so off and on ( mostly on) and i hate it. i really want this to work from what ive read it looks like it may but im still a bit worried. i need to have the cigarette feel im afraid and with all the small issues with loading carts and finding the right flavor and having to have a charged battery yadda yadda im only half thinking it will work for me. the main problem i fear is convenience, if its a lot of work and im in a hurry ( i work a lot) i will find myself out of whatever is needed for the ecig and have to buy the regular cigarettes.

i will try hard to make this work though.

is there any advice out there on how i can make this an easy transition? like what is a must have? (other than the 510 kit? )What juice is most like cigarettes? i smoke Marlboro lights now..

ill spend what it takes( cost isnt a problem) but i dont like to buy stuff just to have it. if i need something that will help ill get it but until its proven to me i want to have only what is needed to make it easy and give me the best chance.

thanks anyone for your help.

DC2 is spot on.

You got the starter kit from Cignot.. good move. That will give you two batteries and two atomizers. Fine. Add the PCC for "going mobile" and you'll usually be able to keep one battery charging while you are using the other one.

In no time flat you're going to want to get at least one spare battery.. and it's nice to have a spare atty or two laying around. Just go ahead and get another starter kit. It's cost effective.

Get off of the pre-filled carts as soon as you can (unless, of course, you just love them.. which would be weird). Find an e-liquid flavor/strength that you like (sadly that is often trial and error) and learn to refill your carts. Almost immediately you are going to learn the limitations of the stock poly filler.. so you'll want to investigate some cart mods. That will lead you to blue foam, PTB, or some zero-filler variant. In no-time you will find your favorite cart mod..... Now you're vaping.

From then on you just sit around and vape.. waiting to see what the next great mod is... or pondering whether you really want to try going to 5V or buying something that doesn't actually look like a cigarette. You've been assimilated....

thanks guys. for the record. i got the starter kit with the PCC from Cignot so im covered there. i also orderd a sample of the marlboro juice from another site. (dont remember which)

i see no issue with having to drip, i guess ill have to keep reading to find what works best for people that are also super busy ( or lazy like me)

what mod seems to work the best? i see that Cignot sells the PTB carts.. is that a good choice? or is there better?

I personally feel that PTB was "good in its day"..... but time and mods march fast around here.

Don't get me wrong, PTB is better than stock by a long shot.... but these days I'd probably spend my time working with a mod like the BFD (Blue Foam Dart) or one of the Zero Filler variants. Depends on how much of a "tweaker" you are!
