Some advice from the GG pros

HI all ,

First I would like to state that everything I'm about to say is just a opinion and nothing else , just my 2 cents .
how to start hmmm ..... Well I quit killing myself around 40 something days ago and feel the better for it , I am kinda a newb but I learn fast , very fast , my job dictates that I evolve around new tech but enough about that

I first started vaping on a ego and found it ok but the tech nerd in me said that there must be a better way so I looked around the net and found the tw site with the vv lavatube , at first it looked like the greatest thing since Swiss cheese but after a few weeks using one I got the sinking feeling that this thing isn't gonna last forever . I also started using boge tanks and though it was better but after scanning YouTube rigorously and was put onto the DID so I went ahead and ordered on , in the meantime something inside me was saying it just might be to much hassle .

went back to the web (being that my lavatube wasn't going to last forever) and behold I discovered the wait for it ..........The Golden Greek and UFS , to my eyes from everything I could find it looked like the perfect solution atomizer in a tank , pure geniuse . I pulled the trigger and ordered it from Goldeengreek.co.uk .

In the meantime my DID arrived today and I had sometime to play with it , after first failure on my first coil I got a second one up and running, was not a easy task and I had my multimeter at my side to lookout for shorts , hmmm I truly can't imagine a none technical person doing this unless there just bonkers about vaping. I think I can see why IMEO doesn't want to design one as I have read in a thread hear on the forums.

So my question is this , is the UFS +GGTS truly as headache free as it look on YouTube ?

and being that I have never used an atomizer (my ego had clearos) is its taste close enough to a gen from me not to care?

im thinking this combo UFS+GGTS is gonna blow my mind without testing my patience ,am I right thinking THIS IS SPARTA?

UFS as you know its more of a carto and atty tank system. The high end version of Lava tanks/ DCT tanks, Map tanks etc. difference is that you can use not only a carto like Boge cartos or smoktech cartos but you can also use Atomizers like HH357 long barrel etc.

Consider the device the Royal Royce s of E-Cigs. I would also recommend getting a Penelope or even an Odysseus if and when they become available. This things put out liek a freight train on the GGTS. Coils are very easy to setup and the quality I REPEAT QUALITY of the vape is nothing short but amazing. The quality and craftsmanship that IMEO dedicated to make sure each of his devices are top I MEAN TOP of the line in quality vaping production is out of this world. Believe me when i tell you that you wont regret shelling out the money for his devices.

Everyone here is very helpful so if you need help with your device with tips and tricks a lot of the folks here will be able to give you a hand.

Can't go wrong with a UFS Supa, that's for sure. However as you're clearly a gadget guy like most of us here I recommend you take a closer look at the Odysseus and Penelope as Bishop said. WARNING this stuff is highly addictive. Once the GG bug bites you're hooked for life pal.

Thanks for such a warm welcome , I'm sure I'm going to enjoy this subforum very much , as for the oddy and pen I think I might bite the bullet when they are available but for now it's the waiting game for me after looking at the classified for ody and pen .
As for quality I'm sure they are even better then your saying , pics speak for themselfs.
May I ask , as someone coming from cartos , will I see a big difference in taste using atomizers like the 357 ?

Is it easier than the DID? Heck yeah, Imeo even makes ready made resistance wires which make it a snap for a newcomer. Take a look at all the vids on making coils for Ody and Penelope and you'll see how easy it is. Taste doesn't compare to any carto it's light years ahead.

Like Steve said I got hit hard. I thought I was vaping like a king with Provari V2 using boge cartos, dct tanks like lavatanks, Map tanks hh357 attys etc. I thought I was living good till someone told me about GG. WOW was I wrong i was not even close. When I got my Penelope and Odysseus I wa sso amazed I had to get more. Im one of those juice junkies that need to vape all different kinds of juices. I cant really stick with one or two.

There is a small minor learning curve with the devices but its no different than anything yo get that your new to. Its very simple to understand and it will make your vape life so much sweeter.

Will keep and eye open for the rebuildables , in the mean time would you think an atomizer in a UFS would be a leap in vapour and flavour vs a cartomizer?

lets put it this way I got about 10 boxes of boge cartos collecting dust as well as HH357s since i started to use Odysseys and Penelope. If I didnt have Pen and Odysseus i would be using boge cartos in tank like LAVATANK. if im not lazy and want to keep dripping juice in atty then I use the HH357. The beauty of the UFS is the 5ML tank that will work with HH357 atty. no more dripping.

Now that's insane lol in a good way , for a second there I thought I saw vape coming out of your ears Lol
Although I don't thinks I would be going into the 7 volt stuff , I'm kinda paranoid about battery's .
That ody though looks like a future investment

Yeah , I'm starting to think while vaping on a DID that juice control is its Achilles heel . Will the next batch of odys come with a ggts base is also something I'm pondering .

It will probably stay as an optional part but with Imeo's new advance ordering system, the TS base will certainly be offered on the next advance sale that the Ody is part of. I think it will be close to 3 months though. Put yourself on the suppliers notify me list anyway cause you never know when a few strays might show up.

Just my $.02 but the Odysseus is much less tinkering and fidgeting than my UFS ever was. It does everything the UFS does, plus more. If I only had one device it would be a GGTS and an Odysseus. (I only have 2 PV's and both are GGTS's both with Odysseus-us-us-is.

I thought just like you. For me I thought why do I need a GGTS Odysseus and Penelope was working great on Provari. When i got my GGTS I saw a lot of advantages that Id idnt have before. customizable battery combination airflow and being able to vape at 7.4 volts at .9 ohms. Coil doesnt snap and I use a triple wick no burn flavor. GREAT GREAT EXPERIENCE

What I used before Odysseus and Penelope? I used Map tanks, Ce2 tanks, lava tanks, boge cartos and attys. I tried using one earlier today and I wasn't happy because I got used to flow control of Ody and Pen. UFS has a flow control so i can adjust manually the liquid feeding system that is goign to my atty and carto. No need to make punch holes to carto with UFS another advantage do to feeding system.

good job , you guys managed to bully me into buying a oddy on the classifieds , wanted to wait for a production run but i just cant wait that long , these boges are getting old
