I'm not trying to get into an argument or anything, it's just that my personal experiences with the company have been great. I don't think one should automatically dismiss a company just because of that; they do, after all offer all of the parts any other supplier does. And I can see the reason for it, that's all I was saying. The other parts clause does not apply to outside juice, just thought that was worth throwing out there.

Well personally, I'm generally a stickler for the Truth... unless someone asks me something I consider none of his d___ business, in which case all bets are off. If I paid my money for a product I don't really care *what* their warranty says, I'll use it as I see fit because when I bought it, it became mine. If it fails to perform to my standards either they'll make it good or I'll try my best to cost them more than they cost me. And if they ask me if I dared use a "brand X" atty on their device I reserve the right to say, "NO", whether I actually did or not. Because while I was using it, I had the device and they had the money. That seems pretty fair to me, doncha think? :D

Fair as Friday brother. I'd like to know how they would even find out, unless you told them anyway lol. But I've sniffed around their forum, and the general consensus is that things aren't likely to go wrong when modding or using compatible, outside parts, unless you're being stupid; by being stupid I mean using parts with incompatible current flow systems and you short your device. And in that case, it's my opinion that you wouldn't deserve an honored warrenty anymore than if you decided to take your device....your electronic device swimming with you lol.
