I just need something vapable. Doesn't have to be spectacular...just something decent to get me theough until I can order some more flavorings for some recipes.

Here's what I have:

125ml VG
125ml PG
115ml nic
10ml Honey (FW)
10ml Honey Wood tobacco (FW)
10ml Vanilla tobacco (FW)
10ml Graham Cracker (FW)

I've tried Honey @ 10%-15%, 18mg nic, 70/30 VG/PG....tastes almost grassy lol

Also tried Honey Wood tobacco @ the same levels but 50/50 PG/VG instead of 70/30....tastes like perfume.

I measured by syringe and was very accurate to the calculator.

Help?

I think you said you already tried it at those percentages and it was perfumey. That sometimes can mean too much flavoring was used. But since it is tobacco, you really need to let it steep a good week maybe two to see how it ends up tasting. Maybe google Flavor West and see if there are any recipes others are posting or talking about. Sorry, I'm just not familiar with these flavors. I was thinking that if you are desperate though and just can't wait for steeping, maybe make a batch at say 5% flavor so it's mild and you might be able to Vape without waiting. But first make a real small 3 ml batch to see so you don't waste alot.

Tobaccos take time 90% of tobaccos taste like crap or have no taste right after mixing. They need time to cure.

I've herd the FW juices are less concentrated. I would start with 5% of the honey wood tobacco. Then I would steep it. Tobacco takes any where from 2 to 4 weeks to steep. You can speed up the steeping process by placing the bottle in a covered thurmos cup filled with tap water as hot as you can get it. Let it sit covered until it cools to room temperature. Remove the bottle and really shake it up good. Then repeat this process 2 more times. You can tell it's doing it's job if the color of the liquid changes. tobaccos are a hard nut to crack. If it taste perfumie leave the cap off for 24 hours.

After some steeping, my Honey Graham Cracker turned yellow, and it was good...I think some sweetener would have made it great though.

My Honey Wood Tobacco is still funky and perfumey...but I'm hoping it'll turn out eventually.

My Vanilla Tobacco turned out FANTASTIC. Easily an ADV for me. It was simple too. Just 15% flavoring, 50/50 VG/PG, and 18mg Nic. Love it!

It's always nice to here a success story.

If you think adding sweetener to the honey graham cracker will make it great then add 1% to it. It's not to late. Let it sit for 24 hours and try it. If it needs more then add it. You can always adjust mixes after your initial mix. Just add small amounts at a time (1%). It's harder to go backwards if you over do it.

As far as the honey wood it sounds like it needs more steeping. If you did the hot water steeping just repeat it. Also let it sit for 24 hours with the cap off to air out. Remember tobacco takes a long time to steep 2 - 4 weeks.

Well, I already vaped all the Honey Graham Cracker lol...the next batch I'm going to try the sweetener and see what happens.

The Honey Wood Tobacco has already had 2 rounds of 24 hours cap off. Dunno what's up with it. I'm just gonna set it aside for a week or two and come back to it.

That would be the best thing. You can't really rush tobaccos. I use an Ultrasonic cleaner to steep my tobaccos and even then it takes 4 - 5 hours. And although it gets it to a vapable point it will continue to mature even after.

10% on that one.

That may be a bit high. I usually start tobaccos I haven't used before at 5 - 6%. If it does'nt improve after some time has passed then cut it in half with fresh nic base. If you made a 10ml test batch take 5ml of that batch and mix it with 5ml of fresh base. That will give you 5%. If it's to weak after that add flavor in 1% increments.
