I actually have a real nice drill press and have ordered a 2" three jaw chuck for it. That and a 1/2 good compound vice and I'd be good o go... (Well except for the thread cutting dept. that is). That's what I really need.

just be careful with that. the quills on a drill press are just press-on and aren't made to resist much lateral load.

that's not a bad price. How are you holding the tooling, with the compound vice?
NO,,, damn it,,,, I clamp a threading bit into a cracked clamp vise and manually spin the table to get a light "bite" then feed with the drill press arm. I'm good with drip tips but can only chuck up to 5/8" the 2" jaw should give me the ability to make tubes for 18650s but then there is that threading thingy. I buy sink aerators and cut them down and press fit them in to give me threads.

HEY Gummy, if your gonna be at VapeStock I have a second 50ish atlas lathe that has a broke power feed nut, and needs the motor rewound I could let go of for cheap...
