I find it funny and sometimes annoying... Whenever I walk to the smoking area, and I start my thing, people with analogs will stare like WTF? And quickly they will put out their smokes and I will be the only guy there blowing away everyone, like almost literally... I think it's offensive maybe in their opinion? I used to smoke in the bathroom when sitting down but I can't do it now or all I will see are my hands holding a mod and the other my phone doing youpoop. I installed a 12 inch exhaust fan in my man cave where I used to not smoke, but I do vape there now. I can't always open a window or go outside especially this winter. It's a big change that I enjoy sometimes and sometimes not... Catch 22?

Maybe they don't like second hand vapor? I don't like second hand smoke for sure but WTH... It's not like they will separate smoking and vaping areas. Sometimes I go to smoking areas with another vaper with a stick or something. Honestly sometimes I wish I own a POD like what they have rather than a sub ohm atty and mod. I think even non-smokers who see the vapor will look twice. I don't even mean it, it's just the catch of unregulated mod.

Not too surprising vapers are pretty rare. Like 5% of smokers which are less than 15% of the community.

To be honest with you mate, I like that number. Some people disagreed with me and maybe think that my opinions are crazy but eliminating smokers 100% is the goal(along with vapers maybe). At least in my idea of a perfect world. I know, never gonna happen...

Vaping IMO is just a detour for current smokers to quit smoking but if maybe 100 years from now, there will be zero smokers and vapers, I think that's a better number than 15%.. Again, just IMO and I feel weird saying that in a vaping forum...

I don’t think there is one single goal. At least not for the various groups opposing vaping. There is big tobacco who want vaping to simply go away because it reduces their market share and want people to keep smoking. there is big pharmaceutical who feel vaping is a competitor to their products and want people to stop smoking but pay them large amounts of money to do it. Then there are the anti smoking leagues who believe vaping is just another kind of smoking and want to eliminate it on ideological grounds, finding the reduced harm of vaping to be an impediment to their goal which is ironically originally based on harm reduction but has clearly moved away from that.
