on the verge of deciding which kit to start with, but im wondering a couple things.

What do people recommend mostly in regards to cartos vs atomizer+carto?
how long do each last?

how many refills would 30ml bottle give you?

essentially i am a pack a day smoker (20pack)

what kind of purchasing routine, would i need to start as far as getting atomizers (if i go that route) and juice?

(I do also realise that cartos are refillable too. so how long before those need replacing?)

thank you so much in advance!

Ok, I'll try to give this a shot, but be advised that vaping tends to vary greatly from user to user so what works for 1 person might not work for another.

What do people recommend mostly in regards to cartos vs atomizer+carto? This depends on the user. If you are going to simple "I just want it to work and feel like a cigarette" then a good route to go is with the Volt by Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarettes | Wholesale Electronic Cigarettes | E-Cigarette | Best Electronic Cigarette | Electronic Cigarette It is a consistent and well performing model for the clone type of ecig. However, you will sacrifice some battery life (about 2-3hrs per charge) so you would want extra batteries or a personal charging case for on the go.

For information on the models and types recommended for new users, try the info pages here Best E-Cigarette for a New User

how long do each last? Most cartomizers will hold anywhere from 1-2 ml of liquid for a standard sized. They can be refilled several times without cleaning or you can extend the life a bit further by cleaning them.

how many refills would 30ml bottle give you? About 15 - 30 depending on the size of the carto.

essentially i am a pack a day smoker (20pack) People often vape differently than they smoked. Some vape a lot less as they don't feel the need to "finish" a cigarette. They can take a few vapes and be fine. Other's chainvape because they can use it when they normally couldn't smoke a cigarette. Only time and experience will dictate what your vaping habits will be.

what kind of purchasing routine, would i need to start as far as getting atomizers (if i go that route) and juice? Atomizers can lasts anywhere from a day to several months. There really is no right or wrong answer to this one. If you go with atomizers, make sure that you keep plenty of spares on hand.

(I do also realise that cartos are refillable too. so how long before those need replacing?) See above for general use. I've found with most filler type cartos that I can get 20 or more refills from them before the performance drops off.

I hope that helps. I'm sure you'll get many more suggestions.

The median daily vape for most people is around 3ml per day. The range is from 2ml all the way up to 5 or 6ml for heavy vapers.

Also you don't vape the same way you smoke. Try taking long slow pulls and then exhale.

If you are not concerned with size, the Kgo is a very good starter PV. It's about the same size as a sharpie.

Hoosier and Dark City Vapor are well recommended suppliers of the Kgo, although it is also available from many more forum suppliers. All forum suppliers are trustworthy and you should not have any problems ordering from any of them.

For beginners, cartos are definitely the way to go. If you decide on a Kgo, also order some Boge single coil cartos LR 2.0. If you decide on a slim e-cig, buy Boge single coil cartos SR 3.0. Also order a couple of Drip Tips for ease of use and comfort.

Just noticed you are from Canada. Check with the Canadian forum for recommended suppliers.
