I just filled up my first tank I bought from mom and pop (mini-sub) and completely messed it up.
First I put in about 6 drops in the carto (nothing in the center hole) put the carto in the tank and filled it up close to the top.
Waited about 10 minutes, and took a few drags. The juice level went down and into the carto very fast and I flooded it.
juice went into my mouth and leaked out the bottom.
The carto came prepunched with 3 holes and I was using peach flavor 70/30 juice.
I'm waiting for some stainless steel cartos to punch myself and wondering how many holes i should make.
Could the problem I had be due to the 3 holes in the carto and too much liquid was being sucked in?
Or should I have filled the carto first before putting it in the tank?
Thanks for the help.

My carto from Momandpopvaporshop also had a 3ohm carto with 3 holes. I had the opposite problem, it wouldn't wick. Kept tasting burnt. I had to take the screw out and vape to get the juice up into the carto. If yours was flooding, you had an air leak somewhere. You can stand in front of a mirror and watch the tank closely as you vape. Where are the air bubbles coming from? They may be coming from the fill/vent hole, meaning the screw isn't screwed in tight enough and it's letting air in. That air builds up inside the tank until the pressure continually forces the juice into the carto and out the bottom.

If the air bubbles are coming from the bottom grommets, then there isn't a good seal and you'll have to suck out the juice and take it apart and reassemble it.

The carto I had with the 3 holes...they were pretty big holes and I could see white filling so I couldn't have had them any bigger. Boges are tightly packed, some excessively so and need help to wick. My juices are mostly pg so they aren't thick at all.
