I just ordered an evic and am looking to get into rebuildables with ss rope. I am probably going to go with an RSST, what kind of rope should I get? Also what gauge kanthal should I get? I was thinking 30 or 32 gauge.

32 is the magic number when it comes to building coils for ecigs. You can use it for standard resistance, but can still get low resistance with fewer wraps.
SS rope seems to work well with genesis atomizers. I have some, but have yet to start experimenting with it. From what I have read, you still need something to wrap around the SS rope where the coil is built. Some use SS Mesh, but you could use Ekowool or a silica sleeve. You should be safe if you order your SS rope from a vaping site, ala Kidney Puncher. If you order from ebay or Amazon, make sure your SS rope is not galvanized and make sure it does not have nylon inside of it.

Ok thanks. Yeah I know bout wrapping it too. What about the type of rope? I see so many different sizes.
