Here are some of the mods I have made after being inspired by the great people on this forum. I've even started selling some of the small cell phone mods to friends .

Good stuff!

I'll have to try the cell phone mods, one of these days. Where do you get the old cell phones?

The larger cell phones are old ones I had around the house , The small one & the ones I'm selling are Trac Phones from Wal Mart ($10.00) . It's a very easy mod (Alot easer than a NicoBox) and the battery last all day & half the night. My better half & I only use them with the cartomizers, they last from 4 to 8 hours of vapping for us. If anyone needs more info on the mod just ask & I'll try to help . Thank You  to all the other modders on here that inspired me & others .

Hey Bigdaddy, I bought a phone today thanks to you lol.

Anyways I was looking at it differently.

As you notice on the tracfone motorola v170 there is a mono phone jack on top.

I think you could wire it to be + and -, and then use a mono 2.5mm Mono M to 3.5mm Mono Female Adapter.

NxGenPC.com - CABLES TO GO, 2.5mm Mono M to 3.5mm Mono Female Adptr, Cables, and more

I have a 3.5mm jack here like it, and if I drilled it out it would fit a 510 connection inside.

Then on the back where the extra external antenna is solder on a switch, and use the rubber that is already there on top of it.

What you would have is a total stealth 510 cell phone. I think you could even make the phone active to use if you wanted too!

Great idea using cell phones!

Then I would have adapters to keep up with lol

Until they start making atomizers without threads, and using RCA as a standared I would switch over to it.

 You are a funny man

Super mods. Can You take pics of the wiring on the cell phones? I have 2 trac phones:)

Here is the best pic. I could get with my cam. The wiring is very easy I just tin the ends of two small wires bend a hook in the tined ends and hook them on the + and - contacts in the phone . Looking at the battery compartment with the bat. removed the pos.+ is on the right toward the center of battery compartment and the neg.- is on the left toward the outside . Run the pos. wire to the backside of the contacts to clear the bat. neg. straight to the side and stuff the wires down in the side , theres lots of room in there , drill a hole where the screw is on the left side and run the wires out to whatever kind of atty and switch you are going to use. With this hookup the phone still works just like normal , the best thing is you have a BATTERY INDICATOR & A CLOCK and you still have a working cell phone if you want to activate it or you can use it for 911 calls only.

DaMulta , The WalMart phones I'm using are the Kyocera Tracfone , but I think the newer Motorola Tracfone is very close to the same.

Just built a Cold Heat Soldering Iron mod today , vapes very good on four 1.2 volt NiMH batterys . Used a Radio Shack 901 panel mount , it was a plug in mount no soldering to hook it up just the dab of solder to make the ground hookup in the panel mount , all you have to do is pull out the soldering tip and plug in the 901 panel mount and I just used three layers of shrink tube to hold the panel mount in place where the soldering tip was . Changed out the switch to a push button and vape away.
