First of all, let me say this. I am truly sorry that ANYONE has to go though this will our brand name attached.

You must all know by now that V4L does not scam, will not scam and will not steal money from our beloved customers!! IF nothing else, our reputation (especially on the ECF) is clean as a whistle!!

However, we do allow affiliate marketers to promote sales WITHIN our guidelines and we are aware of many of the offers that are being delivered to the marketplace. We also allow resellers to operate in the marketplace - and pricing may vary in different markets. We can't control this 100% we can merely suggest what resellers use as "suggested retail pricing"

The only REAL scams online are the companies that sell horrible products via a 'continuity program' and automatically sign you up for re-orders on a monthly basis - V4L has steered VERY clear of doing business this way. We do NOT want to upset our customers, and do not want to take what is not rightfully ours - a true honest sale.

I am sorry that your uncle got caught in what he thought was a scam, good thing most CC companies will allow you to refute any charges online and that internet laws protect the consumer (most of the time).

The best thing all of you can do to help, is to tell your family what V4L is doing for you, and personally give them some of the business cards we ship with each order - also continually circulate our Vapor4Life.com URL... that will help keep everyone on the same page.

I hope this helps...
Dave

Hi Dave! I shout V4L from the roof tops to everyone I know! He had everything he needed to purchase V4L but he chose not to use my links or he clicked on a popup that came from AOL. Bone head. The offer was a 'horrible products via a 'continuity program' and automatically sign you up for re-orders on a monthly basis" - nothing to do with V4L! No brand name attachment - I don't think I can put the name in this forum but I'm going to. It was direct e cigarette. Edit if you wish. I appreciate your kindness and reply to my post!

I know of this scam, and V4L should know about it too. If it's the same site, it's a scam that is successfully getting crawled and indexed by google, when my legit blogs and links don't get crawled by them. It is CRAZY

Same thing is going on at Facebook, there's one V4L site that is OK, then there's sites started by affiliates acting like they are the company. It hurts V4L and I will get the URL and the user's name and send it to V4L so they can file a complaint. But be warned, the URL will show up when you mouse over the link, and it's something like Vapor4Lifecx88 or something. What a headache! I'm sorry you and others get scammed like this. It gives V4L a blackeye to newbies. So not right. :( Makes me mad.

So I read the OP and just now read Dave's post. Anyway, this guy I'm talking about may be an aff, idk. but he represents himself as the company and is now building a website, under construction. I do not know if he is using legit V4L links as the site isn't complete. Just be careful out there y'all. Make sure it is a real V4L landing page and learn to recognize phishing and bad URL's. ;)

It's piracy + company reputation smearing + ripping off vulnerable smokers all rolled into one!

Chimchim, I am so sorry your uncle fell for this - - and he must contact his CC company immediately -- but you're right, he also brought it upon himself by refusing to simply follow your advice!

Harrumph.
