*don't know how I missed the more current responses!*

I still miss it once in a blue moon, but I think if I smoked an actual cigarette now I'd probably hate it.

Oddly enough, I ride a motorcycle a lot and I miss lighting up on the bike! I actually can/could light a cigarette at about 15 mph or less, or at a stop light, and I used to. LOL!

I feel ultra-stupid...I didn't see the date on the original post! So are you 100% vaping, or still having an occasional one? I still miss it once in a blue moon, but I think if I smoked an actual cigarette now I'd probably hate it.

Nope, for the last 50 hours, I have not had one single real cig. Not only have I not had any cigs, I have almost no desire to smoke one!! The only times I crave are when I first wake up, and after I eat. I don't know, maybe that will change in a few days, but as of right now, I DO NOT want a real cig. It's the most liberating feeling!! Not being trapped into going to the corner store every other day to spend $20 on two packs is one of the most amazing feelings I've had in a while!

You were able to light smokes on a motorcycle!!!! That, my friend, is very impressive!

Do not be supprised if you develop a sore throat just drink plenty of fluids while your vaping and you will be fine.

Yeah, I noticed that after my first day of vaping, my throat was sore and my mouth was dry. But, I have been drinking lots of water, and the sore throat has since gone away.

4 days in, and I'm going strong! I have people smoking analogs around me all the time, but I barely even notice! I'm actually dreading the return of my sense of smell, because I'm worried I'll be that person who's always saying "Eeeeeewwww cigarettes"
:p

I thought I'd come back to this thread with my 20 day update. After 20 days, I can honestly say I NEVER want to smoke another analog again!

My cough is non-existant. My sense of smell is returning and things are starting to taste a little different.

The feeling of not having to budget $300+ each month for cigs is the most liberating feeling. Not having to walk to the corner store every day is frigging awesome.

One interesting side effect I've experienced is a change in my dreams. I have been having the craziest dreams since I quit analogs, some scary, some cool, and some that were just plain weird. I'm thinking maybe it's a withdrawl effect from all of the other chemicals in cigarettes? Or, maybe all those chemicals were suppressing my dreams?

I've also noticed that I don't crave cigs the way I used to. I used to need a smoke every 30 mins or so! I have some classes during the day that last 4 hours, and my smoker-friends are all nic-fitting by the end of the class. I've found myself more able to go long periods without vaping, I don't get all edgy and stressed when I can't smoke. Also a very liberating feeling!

When I'm around cigarette smoke now it smells so toxic...I used to smell it and think "Mmmm I want a cigarette!" Now I just think "Ew."

Anyways, just wanted to say e cigs are the best thing ever. Check out my signature! I've saved so much money!!! :D

Congrats there :). Just, don't go looking at the classie or those reviews and whatnot and you'll be truly saving money:). And hey, interesting about dreams, I definitly have a more vivid dreams of strange assorts compared to before, of which I can't even remember if I ever dream, just a restless close to insomniac nights. Actually, late-nights are my heaviest smoking time. Now that I'm vaping, I feel more relaxed, less restlessness (still got cravings), easier to slip into sleep state, and sleep better. I guess, smoking really messes with "the system" of our body, not just to some spesific part.

Actually I ride my motorcycle everyday too and its 1000x better with ecig mod on the motorcycle. Just get something like a Vapage VMod XL. It has a big tank that will last for a couple days. Fill it up and use it when you ride. It'll never be bothered by the wind like a real cig and its small and can fit in a top jacket pocket.

I smoke mine at freeway speeds, at red lights, cruising down by the beach at 25, whenever i want as long as its safe to pull it out of the pocket real quick.

I"ve actually vaped on the bike...somehow it's not the same. Small price to pay for being a non-smoker, however!
