I have an itaste vv 3.0, mvp 2.0, and vamo 2 and vamo 5. I don't quite know what the heck is going on since the vamos use external batteries but none of my devices stay charged now for more than 2 hours. Can anyone recommend anything new that might be different? I hate that nothing will stay charged. Clearly for the vamos I need to buy new batteries but just wondering about the other things that have installed batteries. Nothing is more annoying than fully charging something that dies 2 hours later with little use.

What size batteries are you using in your vamo? A single 18350 lasts a couple hours however an 18650 lasts me about 7 - 8 in my vamo set in wattage mode. Now I get about the same times out of my nemesis with a kick2 installed on them as well. Oh and I get about 4 hours out of the 18500 with the kick2 and the nemesis. I also use mostly EFest and Sony batteries all IMR by the way.

This isn't making a lot of sense. None of the MVP2's have been in the market long enough that they should have dying batteries.

What specific batteries are you using in the VAMO?

Missing parts of the puzzle:

What devices are you using on these APV's and at what resistance?

What charger for the VAMO batteries? Have you ever checked the voltage of those batteries coming off a charge cycle?

All good questions. Kinggirl, take a look at your batteries and charger, otherwise you're just going to run into this problem again.

As to the MVP2, I can usually get two days out of mine before it needs a charge.

I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I read (on ECF) somewhere, that when you stack batteries you should keep the stacked pairs together (always) and don't switch the other batteries with it, also I'm not sure how it would affect it by switching in other batteries with a stacked pair....you might want to read up Baditude's blog on that, I think he makes mention of it there...the preferred way is to not stack batteries, but Vamo's are made for that.
I hope someone can fill out the information on stacked pairs a bit more than what I can remember on it.

good luck and I hope you can solve this issue.

I bought 2 brand new aw imr 18350 batteries this week - they came in the mail on Thursday. My intaste 3.0 was fully charged last night it died after about an hour. The mvp probably lasted 6 hours. The vamo I had charged the new 18350 battery and it was dead in an hour or so. Basically I sat down with a friend and a bottle of wine and 12 years a slave....and by the time the movie was over all my devices were basically dead. I haven't been taking the itaste 3.0 with me anymore due to this. I've only had it about 4 or 5 months so is that just the average life of that device?

I get the rechargeable batteries sometimes are flukes but was more curious about the 2 istate products since I can't swap out batteries in that. On the vamo, using an aerotank with 2.0 coil and on the mvp and itaste using protank mini 2 with 2.5 coil.

An 18350 won't last long with a 2 ohm coil if you vape a lot at high voltage like me, and it sounds like it. 2 hours chain vaping a 18350 sounds about right.

A 2.5- 3 ohm will last you much longer and get you the same wattage. Battery life depends on amount of vaping, load on the battery - ohms/power, and amp limit / mah rating of battery and device. So of course if a person vapes @ 6 watts their battery will last almost twice as long as a person vaping at 12 watts.

Dual coils add more load on the battery too.

If you want technical details look at my knowledge is power blog.

I can get 12 hours heavy vaping out of my sigelei running stacked 18350s with a 1.5-1.8 coil @ 11-13 watts. If I used a single 18650 I would only get 4-5 hrs on it. Single 18350 2 hours max.

@ 3.2 ohms with single 18650 I can get 8 hrs @ 13-15 watts
