Hey guys don't know what's been going on here but freaking me out lol ....

So I have pack new 5 kanger heads all there resistance checks out at 2.2ohms but ..... After few days of using the tip the resistance is up to 3.2 ohms ? How is this happening past month had 3 kanger pt heads do this , 2 nova 2.4 heads and few ce4+ heads all do this ????? Don't know why this can be , few them went from 2.2 ohms and week later the resistance went up to 4.2ohms ...

i double tripple checked on a zmax segelei , vamo 3 and also my daily itaste vv v3 let me hear your thoughts guys

thanks

A couple things come to mind:

Are you keeping your battery connector clean of liquids? These liquids we vape are non conductive can impede good electrical connections.

After that make sure your coils are well seated in your Kanger base. There isn't a lot of tolerance in these builds between a so-so screwed in coil assembly and one that is working right. Some times the slightest amount of a coil not being fully screwed in can mean no electrical contact with the center post at all. Try backing off your coil a bit and then firmly screwing it back in to the Kanger base.

Be careful with this one: Especially with the VAMO you can probably find that even the smallest turn of the PT in either direction will give you a different resistance reading. They don't have high quality center posts, so even a small turn of the PT can result in a better connection - or a worse one. I just don't want you to resort to overtightening anything thinking that will fix the problem. Overtightening devices only makes electrical contact problems worse. Actually if you think you have been tightening down harder to try and fix this resistance problem you may now need to pull the center posts on your PV's up to correct it.

I'm having the same problem with a box of Kanger 1.8 ohms coils for the Evod/Protank I got recently. Within one day it would go all the way to 5 ohms and I had to stop using them. I tried them on my Provari, Lambo, and Spinner and it did it no matter what. I was thinking it was the juice I was using.

I contacted the vendor and he assured me they came from Kanger. Been using these coils for a year now and didn't have this problem before.

There were never these problems with the older Tabac BCC/T3. Much of it is not tightening down the coil into the base as Rick mentions. But threading on the T3S base isn't as good as the older T3 either - they 'bottom out' too quickly - never get to the 'snug' phase.
