by the way, taras, i'm really enjoying both the vanilla AND the hilton juices, both very smooth and great vapor and flavor....why aren't you stocking these?? i'm very happy with my order, but sad that i won't be able to get this stuff again!
Hi, I am thrilled to hear that you are happy. I've tried to explain this before, but to tell you how this all came to be is that I am the owner of a a couple tobacco shops in the Buffalo NY area. Back around the end of 2008, I came across the e-cigarette at a mall kiosk when I was visiting Florida. It was a SE kiosk and while I quickly came to learn their product was by far not the best e-cig out there and the 149.00 purchase price was also ridiculous, I had a 27 year cigarette habit that I was feeding and truth be told, I have spent far more than that over the years on patches, Gum, xyban, hypnosis and acupuncture and none of it worked. I sampled the product in the mall and I honestly couldnt have pulled my credit card out any faster then I did. I also bought an extra atty and plenty of carts. I quicly realized that this is a product that works and being a tobacco merchant who is suffering the effects of recession, declining business and increasing taxes, I always have my eyes open for new products. I immediatly did research and entered the e-cig business from my retail stores. In april I also started my website and at that time I also entered the
e-liquid business. But on the way to the
e-liquid business, I had bought several products from severeal e-tailers and quickly learned that there were products that I liked alot but others not nearly as much. I then requested sample orders of 200 -250 bottles of liquid from every major Chinese manufaturer that I could identify. After they all arrived, I lined up a pile of charged 901
batteries , clean atomizers and new carts and sat down with my staff to taste and evaluate these liquids. When the vapor cleared and we took a poll it was clear that one manufacturers line of liquids seemed to stand out above all the others, although there were several of the other products that we felt were superb. The problem is that lets say manufactur "A" has a decent marlblo and a superb menthol. But then their Vanilla is really lousy and thier strawberry is mediocre. But then Manufacturer "B" has more of the selection of flavors that we deem above average, more consistant across the whole rainbow of flavors. Well because our normal orders are 3000 or more bottles, we elected to stick with one manufacturer and we moved forward with them and I annointed those liquids as the Electronic Ash Holy Smoke! e-liquids. Yet I was sitting with several hundred or even a thosand or more bottles of liquid that came from other manufacturers. At first , I simply started putting these bottles in stock at my retail stores, but then started receiving comments from customers, like "hey did you change your formula for your liquids? I bought Chocolate in medium and really enjoyed it, but when I came back and bought a new bottle, it is pretty good, but tastes different" It was then that I realized that if I was going to label these products as my own, it needed to be the exact same product over and over, it needed to be consistant with what the customer got the last time they bought it. At that time I retired all those bottles of other liquid to the shelves in out stockroom and have been looking at them for the last 2 and a half months. Lately, I have started opening a bottle here and there for my own personal use and indeed have noticed that I really like some of them, others not as much but eventually I thought I could sell them and pass them on at a very reasonable price and they would get used instead of just sitting there. Hence the sale of the past weekend. Your observation is a good one where I have noticed that perhaps manufacturer "D" has a great Vanilla or a fantastic 555 or Hilton but maybe the rest of their line simply doesnt knock my socks off the same way and hence we really needed to stick with one manufacturer who we could hold acountable to the standards of quality and consistency that we desired. I hope that kind of expains things.
