Over the 4th weekend I was at my brothers of course there was drinking involved. There was a guy there who chain smokes and has for a very long time.Well we got to talking about my Riva.So he wanted to give it a try.Well he tried it and just didn't hold down the manual button long enough. So he stuck it back up to his mouth and I held down the button for him telling him how he should try and take the vapor in.My God did he ever get a hit and choked it up and was on the verge of throwing up.After he collected his thoughts back together he had to sit down.I could not help but laugh as all of us did there.

After about an hour Jimmy was still sitting down and I looked to him and said "Jimmy are you ok buddy".He looked at me like a deer in the head lights and said "Hell No!! I haven't been able to smoke a cigarette for an hour and now I'm confused".We all busted into a laugh like no other. So after all the laugh's about it he seems to maybe want to try e-cigs.I just wanted to share this and it's one of those you had to be there things.

LOL! Had two acquaintances do that. And that was on a 510T. One fellow didn't want another hit. The other wouldn't give back the PV until the tank was empty.

He didn't want to hit it anymore either lol.The look on his face was priceless.Just wished I had video of it.I would watch it over and over again.

Sounds like a good party. One of my coworkers smokes Newport and vapes a kr808d, he took a hit from my Reo with a LR carto and had a similar experience. It's all in the wattage :)

Yep,good party had a few people asking about my Riva.I explained it the best way I could since I was talking drunken-nese by that point lol.

I have had the same reaction from others. One friend was sick all day. One was dizzy all day. One coughed like crazy and "said what--is this pure ncotine?". I get a few messages from this. First, as buyers we should insist on distributors being concerned about the purity of the nicotine in ecigs. I for one am tired of ecigs smelling like a nicotine patch. I can tell the difference in TW's premier range that claims "pharmecutical grade" nicotine. We need more of this from other distributors. Second, it confirms that there is an increase in tolerance of the concentation of nicotine in an ecig. And that increased tolerance is what prevents the ecig from being a smoking cessation device to most of us former smokers. In my view our position on ecigs should be honest. Combining vaping and smoking is a perfectly OK way to use ecigs. If ecigs are making you sick then for cryin out loud smoke a few analogs until you feel better. Focus on how much better you breath. Not on some unproven prediction that ecigs have any less long term health affects than real cigarettes.

IMHO,
Dave

The same sort of thing happened to me a few months back at a reunion party. A friend asked if she could try my PV. She had heard about them and wanted to see if it could help her to quit smoking. Without thinking I handed it over without adjusting it down to a much weaker level than I use. She took one drag and looked like she was going to explode. I felt absolutely horrible. I still do. She will never try a PV again and it is entirely my fault. I learned a very valuable lesson that day and that is to be extra careful when trying to help others convert.
