No matter what I do, cannot get good flavor out of this thing. It's been over 2 weeks since my last good vape. I can't see the coil position being bad. The cotton is near perfect. Even unflavored straight VG with no nicotine.. I've taken it apart and cleaned it numerous times. There's something terribly wrong that I'm not seeing! Any help is seriously appreciated.

This is the same juice, cotton, wire... Even the same drip tip as I use in other mods. It's just the reo that tastes bad.

Do you have clean hand when handling the cotton. Oils from your fingers and a bunch of other crap could do that . also I would suggest taking the rm2 completely apart and cleaning it. Theres a teardown some where on this sub forum. Could be a ligering flavor contaminating your juices.

Your legs look a little long to me but I don't know why that would cause a bad taste unless something is hot somewhere. You absopositively sure the coil doesn't touch the cap?

I think if it was touching, it would collapse the spring, no?

Have you double checked the resistance of the built RM2? You might have a loose screw on the posts. Those don't look like stock screws either, have you checked the posts to see if they are loose?

Positive it doesn't touch the cap. It's close to the cap but deff not touching. I've never had a problem with this coil position in the last 5 months... Its just recently :(

I got a hot top leg on a build very similar to that one, resulting in a bad taste. When it moved it toward the posts the hot leg went away. when you fire it with the cap off do you see any glowing? (Wicked and wet, of course)

I'd almost say hot leg. They're a touch long and one of em looks to be discolored. When In doubt, rebuild it! Wires cheap!

Yup, if you still can't figure it out, trash that coil, re-clean and check over the RM2, then rebuild another coil as see how that works.
