With having over 20 mods in the last 2 years (all sold) ...from the Reo to the proVari to the monkeyBox to the lavatube to Darwin to the silver bullet to the buzz!!! I always end up back to basics because of simplicity and convenience. Sometimes over doing it my case just creates more confusion and mess and for me, and I can only speak for myself , all I wanted was to slow down on the analogs. Nothing more, nothing less....and yet I still turn to simplicity for that. I just wanted to post this so all the people struggling out there can realize its not the price or size of the mod you use, it's the way you intend to you use it and having the mental strength to make the best of it

This is as simple as it gets !!

I got that 3.5 ml tank from madvapes and they even sell an ego cone/thread cover for the 3.5ml tank. I have a 1.6ohm dual coil in it but I'm going to switch to a 1.7 ohm single coil so I don't destroy the ego batteries but if they do die on me I'll get a few more batts for 12$ . Anyway I love the slimness of the tank also and the tanks have really changed the way we vape!! Recently we have to have big bottom feeding mods to last us all day and the DCT tanks have changed the way of vaping in terms of having the liquid we need all day. I have the lavatube when I want to crank things up but I find that the 1.6ohm oh a 3.4v ego replicates the same taste and vape.

I only vape 3ml a day so no need for a bigger tank in my eyes and if I do need more liquid I can just put some drops in and call it a day !!

One can not argue with the simple truths inherent in the op's post. Although, when taken as a hobby, along side it being the chosen method to get off cigs, simplicity of use has no bearing on an enthusiast's joy in obtaining new equipment, trying new devices and accumulating a hearty cache of vaping paraphanalia to look upon with pride. Choosing to settle on the most simple and satisfying avenue of reward and sticking with it, or feeding one's craving to expand their hobby as far as their wallet will alow, are all excellent approaches to the joy of vaping.

Yeah that is the Smoktech 3.5ml tank. I use the same tank on my Epower and love it. They hold enough that I can go all day without refilling, yet their still small enough that you can easily carry it in your pocket.

And I def recommend trying the 1.7ohm Ressurector cartos in the tank instead. I think dual coils suck a lower voltages and didn't even use the carto that came with the tank. The Ressurectors fit perfectly in the tank and work a LOT better than any dual coil does. You can punch them yourself, or CCV and Hoosier both sell pre-punched Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos(Ressurectors) for the Smoktech tanks, and they even have the metal base on them like the DC carto that comes with the tank. You don't have to use a carto with the metal base, but they are kinda nice bc they stop the tank from being able to slide down.

CCV also Now sells the Smoktech 3.5ml tanks with different colored tubes too. They come in 8 different colors and have polished aluminum end caps. Here's the link: Crystal Clear Vaping
They look nice and allow you to really customize your PV to look the way you want it too. They also have a smoked black 3.5 tank too that would look nice with an all black PV

JuniorNA, that battery is really cool. I'm looking for a light weight battery for my 70 year old mother. The 650 mah ego battery I got her is a little too heavy. Do you think that battery is lighter and what are the details of the battery? Thanks.

Hey buddy. Glad you like it. You will be surprised to hear that is it a 650mAh tornado / ego battery. It only looks different because there is a small cone covering the threads to match with the tank !!!

You read my mind!!! I was on the site as we speak. They have a 5 pack of the bottom plated 1.7 that I just ordered ....they are great and I've used them many times before. I usually go with higher ohms though for the lavatube but the 1.7 can be used on any battery which is great also

Truer words have never been spoken. You can spend $200 on a 3.7 volt delivery device, or $16 on a 3.7 delivery device. It's so much cheaper to find a solid voltage delivery system (wow, thats a big phrase for battery :p), and then tune in your carto and juice from there. That's it. Very simple.

With all this talk of 'stealth', and smaller form factor stuff, I think a lot of people forget how small an ego 650 battery really is. Yes, at 3.2 to 3.4 volts regulated, it's not the greatest powerhouse, but throw a ressurector on there and you're set. AND it's pretty darn stealthy right there. A stainless ressurector on an ego 650 looks really cool to me (with the addition of a mini cone to clean up the outer ego threads). It looks like a "serious" device, but it's quite small overall.

Same goes with an ego 650 and boge 2.0 carto. Tried and true, lasts a very decent amount of time, and is so small compare to other setups. I'm personally not a tank-on-the-go type person, but the OP's setup is really nice looking and even I wouldn't mind carrying something like that around.

That's crazy. It looks a good inch smaller than my Ego 650mah. I think I need glasses :)

Luckily, I didn't spend as much money before realizing that I really enjoy my Volt 808.

I spent a couple hundred bucks on a Silver Bullet and batteries/charger/tanks/attys only to find that the same juices are just harsher on the SB, vs mellow on the Volt. So, I'm back to using my Volt almost all the time.

They're both 3.7 volts. Perhaps I just need some standard resistance 510 cartos. I don't know.
