Welcome to ECF...:toast:

I've been doing this vaping thing for almost 4 years now and still, between the abbreviations and devices, I sometimes don't know what some posters are talking about........
If you need something just ask. We'll do what we can to help you out.

I like your quote about the pipe bomb and stuff haha

For all us newbies just starting out with the vaping thing. Sometimes this feels like a different language. I get lost in the technical words for all the equipment. It reminds me of when I first came to Canada, and was in downtown Toronto, I went into a well known coffee chain, you know the one where they write your name on the cup. Anyhoo, I was in the lineup and all these people were giving complicated orders and honestly? I left and went to the "other one" where you can just get regular coffee LOL!! It was not a language problem I am British for goodness sake!! It was just NOT knowing what to order. So here we go, I have a Ego T and a Tornado (Son brought it from England) some tabacco flavoured stuff, some mint and some cola flavoured stuff. I am going into day seven and doing ok. :) :p

TBH I had the same problem at first, like IDK WTH these people are talking about. RDA? RBA? BDC? Carto? Clearo? Gennie? KFL+? Squonking? PG? VG? Mesh? 510? Hybrid? Volt Drop? TFA? FA? VV/VW? MFS? ....

In the end though if you just hang around among the fora wherever you are in your vape-journey, the acronyms and lingo will make sense, and as you branch out everything that seems complicated at first turns out to just be the same stuff, different configuration, different name.

i advise going with kanger tanks, bottom feeders, you can never go wrong with these. you have done yourself a great favor by doing the switch, congratulations and welcome to the world of vaping:D

I think maybe Aspire BDCs are easier for newbies. Kanger coils require a little too much maintainance and flood too much etc.

Don't get me wrong, I moved into a PT2mini pretty quickly for my eGo, but it was really a PITA to maintain.

The second something starts interesting you, you'll learn the appropriate acronyms very quickly, trust me. Also, there is general forum lingo that can add to the learning curve for those who are not used to it. YMMV.

Somewhere buried in the main forums page, there is a link to the ECF WIKI. So far I've been doing fine without it.

The Aspire BDC work really fine IMO. I'll have to get myself a rebuildable in the next few months and find out for myself what the hype is all about.
