Hello all! I have been browsing this forum for a little bit now. Read some interesting things. My first e-cig is a smoke 51 trio. I was kinda "eh" at first, now I want something with some more vapor. I just dont find the trio very satisfying. I picked my wife up an identical trio. We bought them locally for 37.09 and they have helped us cut down to a less than a pack every two days between the two of us. We used to smoke a pack a day each. I tried using hers and my trio at the same time, and discovered it was a lot more effective at curbing the urges. I tried 18mg carts on both to start. I have also tried making my own juice to the tune of 20-24mg. That is what is in them currently.

I am looking for tips and suggestions on juice and e-cig hardware. I am not concerned with size of the e-cig, just battery life through an entire day. The trios last about a day-day and a half on a single charge. I want the same battery performance, with better vaping performance.

All suggestions and tips are welcome.

You might want to look at mods that give you a higher voltage for more power which gives you more vapor. Or you can look at Low Resistance attys or cartomizers which also give more vapor on a regular battery or mod. I've gotten spoiled by using a variable voltage mod that allows me to dial in the voltage for whatever atty I'm using or whatever juice since some juices taste better at lower voltages than high ones.

I think the "mods" that Moonflame refers to are e-cig mods, such as the Provari, Indulgence or GLV. What you're referring to is using LR atties on the Riva/eGo type batteries and yes, using that combination can drain the battery or damage the MOSFET switch.

Mods are designed to handle LR and HV atomizers and the batteries they use are more suited for this type of vaping.

You don't necessarily need high voltage. You could get an Ego or Riva 510 and then you have the option of using both standard parts and the hotter low resistance atomizers and cartomizers. Check Liberty-Lights.com and click the 20% off first in the upper left, then all prices will be shown as 20% less. And I recommend you try Boge 510cartomizers in both standard and low resistance (LR) - Liberty Flights was out of stock on those but LiteCigUSA.net might have them.

Yes, this is what I was referring to. I use a Monkeyboxx VV and can set the voltage for whatever atty I am using. I just wasn't satisfied with the amount of vapor and TH with a regular kit. Now I'm totally spoiled :). Having something that allows you not to have to take out a juice bottle and either drip or refill a cart is awesome too. It makes vaping as convenient as smoking once you have something like a tank or a bottom feeder. The Monkeyboxx is a bottom feeder, so all I have to do is press on the bottle of juice in the box and vape away.
