All good solid advice given so far.
Bottom line is to use a name-brand, IMR or hybrid safe-chemistry battery, which all of the batteries discussed are.
If you never plan on using sub-ohm, you don't really need the Sony 30 amp or AW 24 amp batteries, but they are a solid choice regardless. The Panasonic NGR18650PD or -PF will last you a good long time in battery life with 2900 mAh.

This battery is not a high drain battery, and only has a 6.8 amp continuous discharge rate (most batteries in this class have a 10 amp CDR) so it would not be appropriate for use with a Kick or sub ohm vaping. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/464802-these-panasonic-ncr18650b-batteries-fake-15.html#post11227272Panasonic NCR18650B Super Max 3.7V 3400mAh how bout this one? anyone used it to vape? Looking on RTD, it says the 18650 AW IMR are only 10A discharge... Is there another one with 24A?
