Some companies in the battery industry are guilty of the same ratings issues that existed in the stereo amplifier business during the 70s. You'd find stereo amplifiers with 500 watt tags in big red ink with an exclamation point in stores. Those were peak ratings based on different voice coil impedance than was actually used. The true RMS output may have been more like 200 watts RMS at 8 ohms.

Those 35A Efests will only take that load for a few seconds. Past that, they'd eventually begin to heat up and spew. The continuous rating is just that ... the load they will withstand for an extended period of time, as in RC planes or bright LED flashlights. The guys over at the flashlight forums all have a scary story to tell about overloaded lithum batteries.

OTOH, the purple Efest does a great job vaping at 2 ohms and reasonable wattage. I'd buy them again without concern over quality.
