Ok have another question! I have swapped from a NO7 28mg to a NAL which is like what I was using, kinda. The only difference is I can now refill with some juice. When I inhale it burns the back of my throat,I am only adding 3 drops like it says to do, SOO what am I doing wrong? The NAL is 30mg. I wanted to upgrade but wanted to try these first to see if I could fill them myself. I sure don't like the burning. Any info would help.

There really isn't enough information in your post to let people know how to help. What I can say is that 28 and 30mg is really strong. So, it would probably help to lower your nic. If you were a PAD smoker then 24mg and up will work but, if you only smoked half a pack a day or something like that. Then 18mg or lower will be key.

Also, if you were using an atomizer then 3 drops will be sufficient for 5 hits or so. If your using a cartomizer then it will be 5 drops or so after about 10 - 15 hits. Vaping them dry or under feeding either, or will lead to dry hits. In the case of a cartomizer then that can lead to it being burnt. Throwing it in the trash is the best action you could take since your inhaling smoke now since the filler material is being burnt.

I don't even know what a NAL is. Is this a cartomizer model? You need to keep cartomizers damp so they don't singe which adds a very harsh bitter burnt taste. And I recommend manual fairly-well-sealed batteries with cartomizers if you are filling or refilling them. Manuals are harder to damage or kill with eliquid (but still possible if they have an open hole in the end) and manuals make it easier to get a good hit.

re TH - higher PG juices let the high through better. Or your new model might be stronger and run warmer and heat enhances nicotine's hit.

And BTW if you bought a thick high VG juice, it may not move through the stuffing fast enough to prevent singeing when vaping.

Yes, please be as descriptive as possible. Never heard of a NAL either.

I direct drip. I can tell you that it's easy to know when to drip again because of the sensation in the throat. The first 5-6 drags are great and then you get a burning sensation and a tin-like taste in your mouth. It is then time to drip again.

I mention this just to describe the sensation when the heating element heats up without enough liquid. Not being familiar with your setup, this may or may not help you.

That's key info, are you using an atomizer or a cartomizer? Does it taste burnt, or it just burns your throat?

If you are using a cartomizer, you should drip in your juice and let it settle in. Did you completely fill the cartomizer (if that's what you are using) on the first fill? Did it come prefilled? We can help you with how to fill your cart properly the first time.

Do you happen to know what ratio of pg/vg your juice is? Sometimes when I am using juice with low vg, it burns the back of my throat.

I'm just blindly throwing darts here. :)

looked it up.... it is a cartomizer and it appears to have 510 threading.

Filling cartomizers basically involves about 20-25 drops and you have to allow for absorption time. You can't just put in 3 drops and start taking drags. You will burn the polyfill and it is hard to eliminate that taste without switching to a new one.

do what throatkick said but before you drag, blow through the mouthpiece while it is unconnected to the battery (also fill unconnected) to make sure you haven't overfilled. If it sounds bubbly repeat with a harder blow with a tissue over the part that connects to the battery and make sure you have no extra juice comming from the bottom. Wipe off the connector threads and let it sit for about five minutes. While you do, drink some water to cleanse that burned throat and try vaping it again....

Re directions saying add 3 drops - that is probably because you may have auto batteries which you can kill with leaks. They don't want people killing the batteries then demanding a replacement. I only use manual 510's - totally sealed on the threaded end and easier to get a good hit. but never assume your NAL charger won't fry a real 510 battery. If you ever get real Joye/Janty 510's get a real charging cable too. One 510 clone FS510 and all of the L88b's (little 90mah batteries like Blu and Trio models have) are reverse electrical polarity and their chargers will fry real 510's and vice versa.
