FDA needs to approve electronic cigarettes because this will help create jobs and the economy because once the general public finds out about this, this will be an economical boom.

Create manufacturing plants here in the USA, which will create jobs. Also, since around 100 million people smoke in the USA, a lot of them will convert and be healthier, which in turn will reduce health care costs. It's a win-win situation.

Let me just say that I'm very proud of the vaping community in general, and SmokeyJoe specifically for supporting this petition.

I'm new to vaping and very concerned that the government might deprive us from a product we all enjoy and derive benefit from.

It's encouraging to see people willing to stand up and be heard.

Let's just hope our effort does not fall on deaf ears.

I definitely signed it...got a confirmation and everything. But I can't seem to find my signature in the list. It should be on the first or second page since I signed within the last 2 hours.

Anyone else notice this?

First or second page?

I don't think so.

I'm on the first page. My signature was 37th two days ago...over 600 people have signed since then.

Sorry...I wasn't clear.

I meant the first or second page that shows up when you go to the site, which ends up being the last page ie. most recent signatures

I made this petition I really wanted to keep these ECigs here and I have been tracking every news article about it in google as well.

Everyone should comment on the news as much as possible the only way we can educate others is by letting them know how much this means to us. Also Dave emailed me earlier on petition with good idea we should make sure to get some of the congressmen to sign this as well as any influential people we know.

I linked the petition on my truesmoker E-cig site and so far e-cig forums/ esmoke talk/ AltSmoke that I know of have it as well. The only way we can protect what I believe to be one of the best inventions ever is let others know it matters to us.

Thanks Joe again for linking and thanks to each of you for signing. My good friend is going to link at the military bases website to get his army buds to sign as well.

Also if you have friends or family who have benefited from our new found health ask them to sign my petition as well. I know my family really appreciates the e-cig as much as I do and my children love me even more for it they are the reason I tried it in the first place.

Again thanks to the community and I am so glad I am a part of this....

i signed the petition a few hours ago...

UNTIL...

I saw that a SMOKES VENDOR made the petition and he is blatantly advertising his website

>>
E-Smoker,Thank you for for signing our petition. To keep up to date on status of petition keep an eye on www DOT. SOMURL DOT com we need to hit our 10K mark by September. Thanks for reaching out,John D HenryTrueSmoker DOT COM E-Smoker and Supplier

even better, signs this petitions as "e-smoker and supplier".

CREDIBILITY of this petition: ZERO !!!!!!!!

Fool i am, i even wrote a lengthy text in my petition comment that "...this issue must not be an issue where a [commercial] agenda or a bias might win"..... the commercial agenda, be it the gvt itself (because they will lose a LOT of tax money)...or nicorette or whatever other multibillion dollar company which MAKES money from us smokers.

Now i see that a ecig VENDOR was making the petition.

Was it really necessary to mention your site and sign this petition as "ecig supplier"....and do you think that this has ANY (whatsoever) credibility in the eyes of the FDA or whomever?

Joe, I think you might want to take that notice off this forum.
